0% personal tax country with low requirements for 1 years residency ?

this is good option, better than having to spend 5M+ AED onreal estate or set up a company but this visa requires a $5k+ monthly income. so if you cannot provide proof of such income you are out of luck.

Stock market investors, where you at?

update: the cyprus-malaysia setup is a must because you cannot setup up a local malay company and run it on mm2h visa. also uae property based visa is a no go since you need to buy at least 5M AED worth of real estate so the only path is through setting up a free zone company.

Life in UAE advantages & disadvantages

oh, great. thanks. so it is 5M AED / 1.15M EUR / 1.35M USD. that is quite a lot for a limited-time visa. i presently have no use for a company and the overhead for accounting and of having to have empty office in order to get banking seems too much but compared to over 1M property, it's pennies.

0% tax company in Malaysia -- thoughts?

is this truly sufficient to prove to authorities that the company is NOT controlled from your country of residence and avoid paying taxes where you live? sounds too good to be true. i guess this works for real companies but not one-man show umbrella companies, right?

    Serbia yeeting freelancers?

I just read in random comments on YT that Serbia has supposedly demanded freelancers to pay social security and possibly some taxes, backtracking 5 years. What's the scoop? I know NC promotes Serbia quite a bit for living, real estate and to hire people. But this is a really big red flag.

    Territorial tax - income source

I would like for someone to clarify the territorial tax system for me. Specifically, many of these countries clearly state that "foreign income" or "income source from outside" is not taxed. And I think it is crystal clear, but some people say that this is false and you can get paid by a foreign...
