EMI for business with real bank IBAN?

e-residency is quite a different setup. hardly comparable to a registered company. but ok, i was just asking.

Stock market investors, where you at?

that is a good point, indeed. once you move there, it is your official residence so technically you just have to avoid becoming tax resident elsewhere. you are making good points, i give you that. from the looks of it and the options for the type of income i have and plan to have in the future...

Janet Yellen calls for global minimum corporate tax rate

i would not take it too lightly. sure, it might be called global and not be, most likely outcome due to other superpowers like china and russia, but that does not mean nothing will happen. i would be very sceptical about CANZUK, USA and EU.

Why some people are against the democracy ?

the first half was spot on! are you talking about the "tribe"? if so, i would agree to some extent. but the world is too big of a place so there are multiple forces at play. the world has never been united so many fractions exist all around us, each with their own agenda. all in all, the old...

EMI for business with real bank IBAN?

doesn't estonian tax law require local bank account for a company? if so then the banks MUST open an account for you no matter what, once the company is officially registered.

Cyprus company with Malaysian residence for trading?

it occurred to me that if the main point of the company is to transform income into CGT dividend, the company won'y earn money in any other way and so i wonder if such a company would be subjected to some sort of investment license and audits and whatnot. might not even be feasable to begin with.

Cyprus company with Malaysian residence for trading?

can you elaborate on the "professionally managed"? are we talking trusts or maybe just lawyers? just fyi, personally i would be ok with 5% tax. but what i won't stand for is the socialist healthcare and social security taxes that we have here in EUrope. where i live i am tax free if i hold for...

Stock market investors, where you at?

i am very well aware of the benefits but the overhead is a factor for me since i am not a 7 figures guy, yet, and it's not just the cost of running the company(what, 10k a year?) just to get a visa that i can get elsewhere cheaper and easier. but the specifics of UAE itself. for me personally...

as per the linked topic of cyprus+malaysia, is looks like it is a no-go because of how malaysia taxes investments. i need more info on this but it seems 0% CGT in malaysia is not really taking effect, nor the territorial tax scheme.

Cyprus company with Malaysian residence for trading?

ok, good info. the malaysian side essentially screws this up :D i made a different topic asking stock traders about their setup and one of the solutions i linked there points here. but if malaysia is the issue here, it does not work. anyway, would you say that in essence, trading securities...

Cyprus company with Malaysian residence for trading?

to all your points - yeah, i never stated otherwise and am fully aware. but this point: so you are saying that if a company buys and sells stocks with its own corporate capital, this income will not be considered under the capital gains(tax)? what is the rule or law that decides what is...

Stock market investors, where you at?

indeed, i have learnt that this is truly the best and cheapest way to get UAE residency visa. it brings annual financial overhead of few thousands but i guess that should be expected when one is setting up operation like this. overall the purely cyprus solution is the easiest, fastest and...

Stock market investors, where you at?

that depends on the legislation. the main idea is that you will trade through a company that resides in jurisdiction with 0% CGT so you have tax-free profits. this applies to malaysia and to cyprus. and you have to live in a country that does not tax dividends or ideally capital gains...

Where to live with max 0-5% total tax

i read the whole thread so here's my comments... one of the reasons for moving away that you have mentioned was the handling of the boomer coof there. i don't want to burst your bubble, but that crap is happening all over the world. the timing is just different, that's all. so don't use that as...
