Safest way to store/protect your money 2019

In a perfect world, crypto would be the answer. However, im sure you're not comfortable with that choice especially when dealing with large amounts. you can try parking it into real estate or stocks but there's downsides to both. Alternatively, you can try parking your money into "digital real...

TBH I was just going to set up a corporation somewhere else and only have a bank account in Belize, I thought that would be easier. But thank you for your recommendations, I'll look into them.

What is your personal opinion of Belize? I have done research online and it is often referenced as being a great choice on blogs but it seems the people of this forum don't share those sentiments. I also found a bank called "caye bank" which looks like it suits an internet entrepreneur...

So people talk about Belize not being good, and now you are saying Dominica is not good either. So what do you recommend as the most painless banking jurisdiction? Panama?

Do you have to go over to Dominica to open the bank account? I've been doing research on which banks in particular are good but there are basically no reviews on any of them

What's the point of having offshore corp. and bank acc. if we...?

I mean technically speaking, even your corporate income is taxable in your country of residence (at least in Canada) if you live there so either way, aren't you 'cheating' the system? I mean what's the difference between opening a corporation + biz account offshore versus just opening a...

Any particular reason you like Dominica? Some people have also mentioned Costa Rica, Panama, and Mexico but it's hard to say which one is the best. They all look relatively stable and safe to me.

Bitcoin 13,3K USD right now, why?

In theory BTC is an amazing idea, but the volatility along with some other negative factors make it hard to adopt for most people. Plus, wouldn't you guys be afraid that as the price steadily goes up, some fat whales will dump all their BTC for cash? There are some really big players here. When...

I'm Canadian. Any advice for opening company + bank in Hong Kong?

Yes, that is just how the link automatically came out for some reason. I understand that it will cost at least a few thousand, but as it turns out HK is off the table for me since there's no way of opening the account without physically being in HK. How would the CRA find out? I'm not trying...

Do offshore banks guarantee your money in case of failure?

Thanks for the advice man! Yeah, HK looked good to me at first but then I realized they're apparently reallyyy strict and on top of that, you actually have to go all the way there just to open the account. I'm gonna do some more digging into Panama and Costa Rica.

Do offshore banks guarantee your money in case of failure?

Thanks for the response. Do you have any personal recommendations/favourites when it comes to offshore banking? From my research, something like Caye or Heritage in Belize seemed like a great option, but other posters on here are saying that Belize is going to sh*t so I'm not sure what to...

I see everyone saying "answer questions via Google" - isn't a forum meant to discuss ideas and share value though? What's the point of this forum if we just google everything If Belize is a bad idea, what offshore accounts do you personally use or recommend in which countries?
