    Hide assets before marriage?

The responses of some posters here I kind of get. They say don't get married because you don't love your woman enough or its not a good relation. I disagree, people change/grow over time. You can marry a good woman who can grow into a bitch, you can marry a person who seems fine and turns into...

    Best location for a foundation

I get the sense you are not telling us the whole story. If you live in a tax haven, there are no taxes, so foundation, company, or llc, makes no difference, you pay no tax. If they don't think it is a real business, changes nothing, still no taxes. So you don't have to care what they think. You...

Democratic House votes to end anonymous companies in USA, some Republicans join them

https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/1978/actions?KWICView=false It has only been introduced last year, few co-sponsors, but little update since then.

Democratic House votes to end anonymous companies in USA, some Republicans join them

https://www.icij.org/investigations...d-to-crack-down-on-anonymous-shell-companies/ Looks like this might get blocked in the senate, but not for long, in what is likely to be a Dem swing year, they will eventually get the votes to push this crap through. On the other front, Cayman Islands and...

Structure to irrevocably gift to future descendants?

$10 millon is enough to not worry about 5-10k in fees, your interest will cover that. Go to a real lawyer to help you find an adequate structure. A foundation might be the best fit for you. Possibly an international one like in Nevis where you can still maintain a large degree of control.

DAC6: new EU tax disclosure rules

Correct me if I am wrong, but if the EU guy has a company doesn't he have to pay corporate taxes + dividend taxes = 50-70%?

DAC6: new EU tax disclosure rules

Lol, EU gets worse everyday. They will not be happy until they close every loophole. If you live in EU be prepared to pay the 50-70% taxes or leave. I can't imagine it be worth living in such a hell hole where the government changes the law daily to track increasing minutia things of your behaviour.

Do I understand that US financial institutions DO NOT report non-us person deposits in them?

I mean, I guess this varies by country, but plumbers where I live clear 6 figures a year, are busy as hell and routinely make $100s of dollars an hour. There'd be nothing unusual about a master plumber making $200k-$300k+ a year, especially if he owns his own firm.

What's considered the best way to keep private the UBO in 2020?

What are the benefits of Liechtenstein foundations? Is it the owner or the UBO? Like can you hold your marshall island bearer shares in a new mexico llc?

What's considered the best way to keep private the UBO in 2020?

Maybe I am wrong, I can accept this, but can you show me examples of high courts in other nations saying it is ok to steal money from a trust and screw the beneficiary other than Liechtenstein?

Buying a car in Europe with a offshore bank account

If he spends anything over 10k it goes straight to IRS, if he spends over 5k near the financial system they keep a record. He seems crazy. If you evade taxes, just to go and spend the money on $80k car, you have defeated your own system. He will always fail forensic account and audit test of how...

Do I understand that US financial institutions DO NOT report non-us person deposits in them?

But why is that, provided the customer is not named Osama bin Laden or Pablo and on some obviously criminal wanted list, what are the penalties these private banks face by taking joe the plumber from Australia or Canada or NZ and giving them an account?

    Offshore property investment

Better make sure Australia doesn't have departure taxes that will tax all your deferred income in a big bunch when you declare non-resident status for tax purposes. I'd be inclined to just exaggerate your rental expenses out there and move in much expenses in there, then invest the money back...

Do I understand that US financial institutions DO NOT report non-us person deposits in them?

Doesn't USA have tax sharing agreements? I could be wrong, but just because they aren't in CRS does this mean they aren't sharing info anyways through the tax agreements?
