Question Why is Jeff Bezos (and others) selling so much stock?

The bigger question is what is he buying with all this cash? My wild guess is that he's going into long dated US treasuries in expectation of a full blown worldwide credit event later this year. Doesn't mean stock markets can't go higher in the meantime, even Jeff Bezos can't pick the real top.

    USA Government shakedown of Binance?

sideshift.ai letsexchange.io simpleswap.io fixedfloat.com and many others. Fees more expansive. And use a VPN. It's just for crypto to crypto. If you are talking fiat to crypto, unfortunately it's already getting late in the game. Last edited: Feb 15, 2024

    Bitcoin ETF approved !

Last time Wall Street got involved in BTC, it didn't pan out very well in the short/medium term: https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/17/wor...t-to-launch-bitcoin-futures-sunday-night.html Will it be the same this time? Still hard to know especially with the halving coming. But extreme vigilance is...

0% plan and coming back from tax haven after 10 years

Coming back as a wealthy person in a high tax juridisction during an acute fiscal crisis is literally putting yourself in the bull's eye. So yes you will have problems, yes you will be harrassed and yes you will have great difficulties to leave ever again.

    Bitcoin ETF approved !

Bitcoin being pulled into a decaying financial system at the worst possible time seems a bit odd and merits attention and caution.

    Binance asking questions

Yes very true. Once a centralized exchange starts going down this path, usually there's no happy ending. Death by a thousand cuts (for you and for them).

Tether: We've onboarded FBI, Secret Service to our platform

DAI is backed by USDC. What happens if USDC gets frozen? DAI loses its peg. DAI is backed by US treasuries directly held by Makerdao. What happens if the US governments gets involved and requires mandatory KYC/AML? DAI loses its peg. I would even go as far as saying that DAI is one of the worst...

Tether: We've onboarded FBI, Secret Service to our platform

Until truly decentralized algorithmic stablecoins emerge, you will always have counterparties risks. And always keep in mind it would be so easy and tempting to freeze all centralized stablecoins for mandatory KYC/AML (DAI included).

Tether: We've onboarded FBI, Secret Service to our platform

It has been full steam psyops season in crypto lately (not to mention the bloating of the BTC blockchain with spams to make it unaffordable to use). Personnaly I take it as a very bad omen. Something must be going very wrong in the traditionnal financial system.

Latest forecast for Ethereum $4000 within 3 weeks?

A lot of alts seem to have very bullish setups. You could even argue that the SPX / NDX are on the verge of exploding higher if they manage to break what appears to be a months long inverse head and shoulders. We will find out soon I guess.

Can we talk solana ( SOL ) cryptocoin ?

The "blockchain not cryto" oxymoron was invented years ago probably by a mix of bankers, central bankers and governments threatened by competition on their currency monopolies. And by the fake news they publish it appears they are getting more and more anxious...

Can we talk solana ( SOL ) cryptocoin ?

It's easy to get high TPS output when you are centralized. That's the reason people consider Bitcoin to be "slow", because it didn't sacrifice its decentralization for higher TPS.

48-Nation Bloc To Crack Down On Using Crypto Assets To Avoid Tax

That's the irony. The more they try to regulate centralized exchanges and fiat offramps, the more they will loose control as people turn their back on fiat currencies and embrace crypto and pure P2P transactions.

Metamask or Kraken or Binance - what's best?

So if I use Wasabi wallet, or Electrum wallet over Tor or Electrum Personal Server will anyone know my IP address? No. Also the difference between Ledger Live and for example a classic "monocoin" wallet is that the latter will only know your balance of said coin whereas Ledger Live will know...

Metamask or Kraken or Binance - what's best?

if you use Ledger Live for example, they will know your IP address, all your balances, all your crypto addresses, all your transactions among other things. They claim they don't keep logs on it which I find dubious given the value of such informations. Same thing for Metamask and many others.

How secure would you say staking is?

Yes people are confused with the word "staking": You can stake coins at the protocol level (ETH, DOT, XTZ....). Risk is low if done properly (keep in mind that your stake can still be slashed if your delegated validator misbehaves). For Polkadot for example you get around 16% but the coin has...
