    I think Switzerland is not the best country for those operations. Many European banks may take a fee for SEPA transfers from or to Switzerland since they are not part of the EEA. If you want to protect your money, have a look at the Lugano Convention first.

    I meant that the card can be issued to any nickname (or even someone else's name). If you ask for a card to be issued to Donald Duck, you may be able to get it.

    Yes, it is six month. But I emptied my account, when the problems with SEPA transfers started. So I cannot fund my account and I cannot use my card because I have a zero balance. Does the cashback work for you? I have never received any.

    For me, SEPA transfers to HSBC UK have always been free. Are you sure you're not confusing HSBC UK with HSBC Expat (Jersey)?

    I guess all of them. Even if you go to a branch, you have to scan a QR code with your phone and submit the application online. After you have completed the online application, you hand over the necessary documents to the bank employee and do the identification in person.

    Can you legally renounce your citizenship? I think, if you acquire a Caribbean passport and renounce your original passport and citizenship, the Caribbean country is not allowed to revoke that CBI citizenship.
