Ukrainian with ~100k in a Liechtenstein bank - How to avoid being reported via CRS?

This is the thing. The whole CRS thing relies on self-certification. It is a weaker system than most believe

Ukrainian with ~100k in a Liechtenstein bank - How to avoid being reported via CRS?

This is if you give them 2 addresses. However, that is not the case of you explicitly tell them you are now only tax resident in your new country. In that case, it is only reported to the country of residence by the end of the year. Only the facts by the end of the year are shared...

Ukrainian with ~100k in a Liechtenstein bank - How to avoid being reported via CRS?

The CRS is reported by the end of the year so he can still change the tax residency and by notifying the bank about it, it would only be forwarded to the new country of residence Also, only the amount by the end of the year is reported

Crypto cashout in Germany, 0% tax,

Actually 12 months should be enough as there is no requirement to be in Germany or be a German tax resident for the whole 12 months holding period

Crypto cashout in Germany, 0% tax,

"The second type of tax residence is the habitual abode (§ 9 General Fiscal Code). A person has its habitual abode at a place or an area where this person stays not only on a temporary basis. This is the case if the stay exceeds six months and is not interrupted for a longer period. Short-term...

Ukrainian with ~100k in a Liechtenstein bank - How to avoid being reported via CRS?

They are not allowed to report to last country of residence if they accept your new one (which they should notify you about if they dont). Also they are not allowed to use the citizenship. You can read about this in the commentary and manual for CRS reporting issued by the OECD...

Ukrainian with ~100k in a Liechtenstein bank - How to avoid being reported via CRS?

I thought CRS was only reported to your country of residence. So just provide your bank with a new address in some country and the CRS will be reported there, not to Ukraine, if that helps you? Or you want to avoid CRS completely?

    USD transactions on Swissquote

Read on the forum that some guys here do not advice transacting in USD outside of the US as it raises red flag. Has anyone had issues transacting in USD to Swissquote (6 figures)?

How to prove physical presence within the EU

A lawyer told me that it is very hard to prove physical presence within the EU as there are no borders and in order to get accepted for status of 'Habitual abode' other circumstances are looked at, as of job etc. Does anyone of you know if this is true or went through the process of proving...

Crypto cashout in Germany, 0% tax,

The difference here is that for Boris Becker, they claimed he never gaved up his 'permanent home'. Read up on the definition of a permanent home in Germany. You have cases where a person stayed for 1 year and still not a permanent home. Usually they want you to have a job or something else that...

Crypto cashout in Germany, 0% tax,

One thing that kept me away from Germany is that by national law it is not clear what the definition of a 'permanent home' is in case you do not work in Germany (in case you do have a job, the general guideline is 3 months physical presence), which can be a problem for tax treaties. In order to...

Tax residency in Georgia while living in 2 European countries?

I do not understand what this means. If a tax treaty exists and everything comes down to physical presence, then just spend a majority of the year in one country

Tax residency in Georgia while living in 2 European countries?

Is there any risk of not being accepted for tax residency in case you spend more than 183 days and them claiming you were only here for leisure in case you have no job or something like that? I'm wondering why they have added the exclusion on leisure in the tax law at all? Something written...
