What's the deal with HK Paypal?

AFAIK HK PayPal accounts have personal account managers. If you used PayPal as a Merchant you probably know why this is could be considered as quite an advantage. (NO need to explain same thing over and over again to different support agent every time) At least it was like this 2 years ago. HK...

If EU company wires money to Dubai (UAE) company for consulting/etc there is tax on the EU side? True?

AFAIK you don't owe tax on these wires but the "costs" of these "consulting services" are non deductible tax wise. So you can't artificially lower your profit for instance to pay less taxes in EU. This is mainly to block "profit shifting".

UAE Freelance visa to cashout crypto

Do you plan to live in the UAE and what's your plan once you "cashed out"?

    Dubai address

DEWA has If I remember correctly a fix "housing fee" of 4% or 5% of yearly rent / 12 (you pay it monthly). You will pay it regardless of consumption. OBV if you rent a "low end" studio this won't be too much. Last edited: Sep 7, 2024

    EMI to withdraw from Payoneer

Airwallex is definitely one of the better EMIs out there. You can try onboarding with them but they are not the biggest fans of UK LTDs so to speak. Prepare some paperwork regarding the incoming transfer, Airwallex will definitely ask for documents with that amount of incoming transfer...

Google ads - business operations verification

I never ran Google Ads to be fair but is there nothing comparable like "Agency Ad" accounts on META? For META there dozen of providers and when you meet certain criteria you might even are eligible for CB.

Banking for Remote Work Residence Visa - UAE

You get an Emirates ID with it? Otherwise no chance, non resident banking in UAE is dead since 2-3 years IMO. For credit card I would say even more difficult. Unless the bank doesn't notice you're not living in the UAE.

Palau ID to verify your EMI and Crypto Exchange account!

A lot of Chinese used it to open Binance Accounts a few months / might even 1-2 years ago. (AFAIK not working anymore either.) There are various other threads about the Palau ID already. To summarise cool gimmick but nothing more unfortunately. They tend to promise a lot more when launching...

Startup: Get Funding(seed / high tax country) or stay offshore?

I would definitely prefer incorporating in the US if the business has a good "suit" for VCs / PE or might even just larger debt funding. Obviously only if that's your "roadmap" and it's suitable for your business. For your private interests as a shareholder, however, it may certainly make...

any airwallex user please share information

I use Airwallex frequently, works smooth most of the time (HK Company). They occasionally ask me for documents regardless of the amount. What's a bit frustrating sometimes 2-3 months after I made / received the payment. For certain transactions I had to provide them with contracts etc (6 figure...

    Belize LLC for Asset Protection

How difficult is it nowadays to have a Belize LLC as a "holding" / "main" shareholder of an "international company" when it comes to banking for the "daughter company"? (E.G US LLC or HK LTD) I'm well aware that banking for the Belize LLC will be significantly difficult besides going the...

Seeking Advice on Offshore Setup for Small Online Store

No it won't work like this anymore unfortunately, build a time machine and travel back 15-20 years and it maybe will work. As mentioned before especially with your "revenue levels" there's literally no point in going "offshore". Trying to do so will only lead to finding yourself in trouble...

EU Friendly EMI - Banks for Luxury Watch - jewellery Business

Really depends on where you're based. In general I would avoid EMIs if possible for a business like this. I assume you will have a lot of buying / selling from / to privat persons and therefore a lot of "bigger transactions" to various individuals. (Depending on what kind of watchers you're...

1M in BTC for instant citizenship of El Salvador

This really reminds me of Palau ID. Seems like the "Premium Deluxe Version". (Besides that this is an actual citizenship, compared to Palau "ID" and probably has some valid use cases). Anyways I think you can do yourself way better with 1M for citizenship, not sure either if an El Salvadorian...

Best exchange to send cryptocurrency payments - HK Resident?

USDT is commonly used, since you "mostly" cut out the exchange rate part plus it's cheap and fast. (USDT-TRC20) Keep some TRON (TRX) in your wallet for better fees. It's probably also the easiest currency if you want to exchange to another currency or sell PSP for cash E.G

What are alternatives to Stripe and PayPal?

Short answer YES. However, it really depends on an infinite number of different factors and personal preferences. Stripe probably has the easiest onboarding when it comes to PSPs, plus depending on the country "you're operating from" you have a lot of different payment options right from the...

Does Stripe have the right to hold your funds forever ?

AFAIK they "recently" (Beginning 2024) changed their ToS, so they can keep your funds forever if they assume it's fraud. Of course you can always work with a lawyer and try to get funds unblocked depending on the situation.

Check with brocard. AFAIK you can use them for other purchases aswell. Especially eCom. Yeah EPN is a bit dodgy to say at least haha.

Unlimited virtual cards with crypto deposit?

Are you sure EPN doesn't have 3Ds?. At least some months ago you could choose cards with 3Ds. I feel like they are changing their fees every other day. You can also check them. First 50 Cards FREE. 4,5% FEES USDT for DEPOSIT. https://mybrocard.com/

    UK LTD Payment processor

Much more difficult to find nowadays. UK LTDs don't have the best "image / trust" for financial institutions, especially with NON RESIDENT UBO / DIRECTOR. There are still a lot of providers obviously, but onboarding is difficult especially if you're a "starter". If you have a proper "setup"...
