Why people paying fee for custody or wealth management , when you can buy low fee index fund etf by yourself ?

I believe the numbers are correct, aren't they? On the other hand they charge 1.25%/1.5% AUM for discretionary/advisory management services and I doubt they would be happy with execution-only clients. Anybody has information on that?

International tax advisor with expertise in Georgia (country) tax laws

I believe expathub has an office in Tbilisi. I have certainly met lawyers who claimed :-) to work at Expathub and those were knowledgeable (lawyers, not salespeople). Can't say anything of the IBCCS though, never heard of them.

International tax advisor with expertise in Georgia (country) tax laws

Also using expathub.ge. They are reasonable and dependable. They answer e-mails in timely manner. I understand they advice well and they don't back down on their words. It's a big difference with most lawyers in Georgia. Can recommend them.

SINGAPORE COMPANY TAXES ON FOREIGN INCOME IF REMITTED?

I'm wondering if it's the case for all/most zero-tax "classic offshore" jurisdictions, or just Seychelles. Is it the same with BVI/Cayman Islands, for example?

Crypto Friendly bank in Switzerland. Crypto Exchange -> Swiss bank

Oh yes. Sorry for not mentioning that. I got impression that they understand how blockchains work, did not need to explain trivial things. That was refreshing. Thanks for the tip to Bitcoin Suisse! Do they really act as introducers to banks? Looks more like a solid crypto exchange/OTC desk...

Crypto Friendly bank in Switzerland. Crypto Exchange -> Swiss bank

alt.co look legit and professional. I started the process with them. Could not finish, as they wanted full transaction chain from origin of coins to current coins (here is txid: I sent it to X exchange; here is a screenshot from X exchange showing that address; here is a statement from X...

Question Private banking - 7/8 figures, white and safe

And a typical private bank would be alright getting their share and not trying to upsell their funds in your experience? That's useful information, thank you! I don't quite get this comparison of a brokerage firm and a bank. Especially in terms of "more regulated" etc. They are just plain...

Question Private banking - 7/8 figures, white and safe

Uhm, excuse me? You say that paying 1% is not enough for the banks and then say that 1% is too much. We got confused here. Would love to know the results of your research though. Please post what offers you got! Wish you to find something reasonable. I do for my passive index funds actually. I...

Question Private banking - 7/8 figures, white and safe

Once I was planning to open an account with a private bank in Switzerland. It was mostly related to one specific deal that they could help with. The manager was pitching their wealth management solutions and how they would discretionary buy all kinds of weird financial products using my money...

Banks that has crypto integrated (crypto friendly)

DBS in Singapore has something: DBS Digital Exchange Apparently only for those with "accredited investor" status in Singapore, which requires S$1M in financial assets / S$300K income in last 12 months. Fees mentioned are 1% per trade, if I get it correctly, which is expensive. Anyone knows any...

Anyone know about the Banking payment system Capitalist?

Fellow Russians. It was somewhat popular in the professional "webmaster" circles. Haven't heard about any serious problems. 40k / 60k is certainly a large sum for them.

EMi banks asking for personal tax returns

Interesting thing is that it would be not my bank. E.g.: I'm sending money from abroad (from a bank that has all the docs it required) to the seller's bank account. The seller's bank would ask for the tax returns and KYC docs for the buyer. At least I was told that there is high chance of this...

EMi banks asking for personal tax returns

Yep. I am going to buy some real estate in Europe. I was told that a bank would probably want not only source of funds documents, but also tax returns (having at least the deal amount declared).

Can an Offshore Company help reduce taxes in Thailand?

Hi, I can't advise regarding the "personal USA tax on dividends" part, but I have acquaintances having restaurants here in Thailand. Tax administration control is basically non-existent. For smaller establishments (say, up to ten grands a month profits) you would just go to the bank as a...

    Interactive brokers deposit rejected

Just to gather some statistics. I've deposited some funds (five-figures USD) to IB from TBC just a few days ago. TBC has my Georgian address, IB has another one. No problems so far.

Question Most/least aggressive tax offices in Europe?

They probably provide good information regarding the laws. I'm also interested in first-hands experience from non-lawyers though. We're certainly on the same page regarding "it's better to not trigger any questions in the first place".

Question Most/least aggressive tax offices in Europe?

Getlemen, thank you for the valuable information on Spain above. I'll add what I know. I'm thinking of buying a property in Spain, getting a residence permit based on that, but I don't want to become a tax resident there. I'm planning to spend 4-5 months a year there maybe. I have asked a few...

Best country to incorporate offshore for Cryptocurrency income for a Thai Resident?

Does not. At least they didn't need it about a year ago when I opened the account. The plastic card itself will not be active until you make a PIN-confirmed operation in EU. The account works fine without that.

Best country to incorporate offshore for Cryptocurrency income for a Thai Resident?

Have you considered skipping the "incorporate" part? You could be trading and everything (Thailand does not care), receiving profits to a personal bank account abroad and sending them to Thailand on 1st of Jan next year to be tax-free. It would save some money and some hassle. N26 may work for...
