Best alternative for UK ltd, no VAT, lower tax

Indeed seems quite cheap, but seems like if you sell to US customers you are gonna be taxed at a 30%? someone has experience with this?

Buying a house in the Philippines as a foreigner

If someone want to sell to me, I'm buying at 65k/sqm :p Problem is quality of the buildings in 90% of the cases is total crap, and badly maintained.. and who got scammed by megaworld is convinced they are "investing" so therefore they try to sell at crazy prices.

Buying a house in the Philippines as a foreigner

Been today to check out a relatively new built tower in Makati (2016), saw a couple of units, they are selling 65 sqm for 16M... directly from megaworld. Even if not off plan, prices directly from them are totally crazy. Apartment was nothing special, usual megaworld shitty kitchen, standard...

MALTA/DUBAI/HUNGARY/CYPRUS - whats the best play in this scenario?

Definitely less things to do than Dubai, but it's improving quickly. Quality of the service is very similar, high end restaurants (Cipriani, etc..) Alcohol is very very relaxed imho, many places serves that, and the clubbing scene is wild, especially in the Juffair area you will find a lot of...

Buying a house in the Philippines as a foreigner

Indeed, that's the reasons why I started the thread, because overall the quality for what you pay and also the option of improving / building a house is interesting compared to an old tower building. I mean for the price of a modern house, you can only get a small apartment in 2008-2012...

MALTA/DUBAI/HUNGARY/CYPRUS - whats the best play in this scenario?

Plenty of amazing real estate in Bahrain right now, the quality for the $$ is just IMHO one of the best in the world. Just check the buildings: Fontana Infinity, ONYX Bahrain Bay, Seef Avenue 1 & 2. For something around $2200-2400 per sqm you can get an extreme luxury apartment with 10+...

Buying a house in the Philippines as a foreigner

Totally agree on making low offers, I've seen apartments in Makati going from 12M php to 6M php, but still cannot figure out the right price per sqm. Seems like people are just putting inflated prices to hope in a life changing sale, but end up staying in the market for years.

MALTA/DUBAI/HUNGARY/CYPRUS - whats the best play in this scenario?

If you go for the company + visa option, yes you need 183+ days, if you go for the self-sponsorship visa (50K BHD+ Real Estate) seems like there is no stay requirement at all. The process at least for me was rather slow, to get the visa and CPR all done, you need at least 3-4 months, but still...

Buying a house in the Philippines as a foreigner

Hi everyone, these days I were browsing the real estate market in the philippines as I wanted to purchase something to live in (not as investment). And noticed a big difference between apartments and houses in terms of price per sqm possibly due to the fact that foreigners can only buy...

MALTA/DUBAI/HUNGARY/CYPRUS - whats the best play in this scenario?

Bahrain, pretty much the last liveable tax free place on earth. Living there is 2-3 times cheaper than Dubai for a similar quality of life.

    UAE - 2024 - And now, what?

There is already the 9% tax, and if you keep thinking there is not, expect a fine.

    Looking for real estate

Malaysia might be an option, one of the few asian countries where foreigners can own land. Not tax free but not that bad.. I believe the minimum amount for foreigners is 1M RM tho.

    Looking for real estate

Bahrain, in Bahrain Bay Area or Juffair. Not much vegetation but you get residency as bonus Yield is very good as well, price/quality wise I believe one of the best in the world at the moment.

UAE FZ small business relief - CT filing - audit?

Someone found a relatively cheap accounting company to do the CIT? seems like I can only find 2000 AED/month firms which is outrageous Fixed costs with an FZCO become incredibly high.. can't wait to move to HK

Best country / setup to minimize tax? (software biz, ~400k, eu)

Yes Bahrain will most likely introduce corporate tax soon. But it's already not the best place to incorporate.. In my opinion bahrain is good just for personal residence. Ive been in both Monaco (visits) and Bahrain (over 5 months) and I can say Manama is far more liveable than Monaco. Monaco...

Best country / setup to minimize tax? (software biz, ~400k, eu)

In my opinion Bahrain is much more open and free then others, even better than Dubai imho (no internet firewall). in Manama there's clubs, beach party's with alchol, and overall a good night life in the Adliya area. I wouldn't even compare something like Kuwait (total alchol ban)
