Euro Pacific bank is a scam

A couple of weeks ago I sent an email to the Receiver asking him to give us the opportunity to Opt-out. I gave him a bunch of reasons as to why he should allow us to Opt-out before setting a migration date. I never received a reply, although the email did go through.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

If Qenta has spent the funds before distributing them to customers, I guarantee you that they are not going to tell you, as it would be criminal to spend money that doesn't belong to Qenta. And where do the rumors come from in the first place, nobody here has access to Qenta's financial statements.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Qenta told opt-in customers the following: "If you want to become a Qenta customer, you have to download the Qenta App and register. If you don't want to become a Qenta customer, don't download the app, don't register." I'm pretty sure that the majority of opt-in customers have not registered...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Maybe you can try to contact some of the former employees of EPB that went to work for Qenta, see if they have any information that can clarify these rumors.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

It would be criminal if Qenta spent customer's funds, that's called stealing!

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

If Qenta used some of the funds to finance its own operating losses, wouldn't that be illegal?

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Hi Peter, Is there a chance that Qenta won't return opt-in customer's funds? I assume the funds must be segregated and therefore protected?

Cyprus ridiculous fees for strike off

Yes, in Cyprus, in Dubai, and in Hong Kong. I would only pay someone to do something for me if it's very complicated, otherwise do it yourself and save the money.

Cyprus ridiculous fees for strike off

Fear mongering, no one is going to chase you! All services are the same, they try to charge you a bunch of money for something that would normally cost very little. I've dealt with a lot of services and ALL of them are full of crap, they literally lie to their clients to squeeze as much as...

Digital Nomad Perpetual Traveler + Apartment in Cyprus = tax ?

In Cyprus, a U.S. LLC is generally treated as a pass-through entity for tax purposes, meaning that its income is not taxed at the entity level but is reported on the personal tax returns of its members. The LLC's income is taxed at the owner's personal income tax rate in Cyprus, which can be as...

    Best tropical place to live?

You need to get on a plane and visit Pattaya and Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo and Punta Cana) Similar weather, very green, affordable, nice friendly people, good infrastructure. You'll just have to decide if you want to be in south east Asia, or in the Caribbean, both are great.

Sorry but that's absurd! Having an LLC brokerage account is perfectly legal. You form the LLC, you open the brokerage account, and off you go. When I was working for Goldman Sachs we had thousands of international customers with LLC accounts, never ever did we have a problem with the IRS, or...

I have residency in Mexico, that's how I get the 10% The Mexican tax authorities (SAT) don't bother foreigners as long as you don't have a business or work in Mexico. In any case, I've never said that this setup is tax-free, that will depend on the country where you're a tax resident. But the...

Funny you mentioned Spain, I lived in Spain for many years. No CRS, so the Spanish tax authorities (Hacienda) can kiss your a*s. Last edited: Jan 18, 2025

As I said, talk to a CPA in the U.S. Most of the time they use a Panamanian Corp, not a HK company. The advantages are many, the setup allows you to have a brokerage account in the U.S., not pay taxes in the U.S. other than the withholding on dividends based on treaty with your country of...
