    More than likely they change their minds once they see the ground situation and meet real people. It's a nice quiet dead place after 5 to 6 pm usually. A retiree can enjoy their life quietly. Don't know if it's still a territorial tax jurisdiction or not.

    Nope, POA had clauses which had closing of accounts permissions included in it. So you can loose your entire account by signing it off. Last edited: Apr 8, 2025

    I am not attacking you mate. But it would be counter productive as most countries are now wanting billionaires living inside them spending money there. Offering them tax free from overseas income. Who would buy expensive houses, cars, apts if they leave? Even USA has joined in this club

    Thailand was superb tax free for retired offshore income people and many retirees getting money from their retirement accounts. Most of them left or in process of leaving.

    Lol so many people did something wrong? Some of them had even Paraguayan wives. The lucky ones got it early in 2012 when that firm TDV was working with a certain German lawyer. Then suddenly news broke out about the whole thing. I am pretty sure you know about her too.
