Hong kong company formation ? Many benefits

Read this to get an idea about the troubles of opening a bank account in HK: Attempts to Open a Corporate Bank Account in Banks of Hong Kong I guess I was lucky with HSBC last year, but I am banking with them for some time in HK and also had a set-up agent making the appointment (at an extra fee).

Hong kong company formation ? Many benefits

I'd say HK is better because it's more modern, trustworthy. HK is not (real) tax haven. Corporate tax is higher that in Ireland and that's in the EU ! The reputation of a HK LTD is for sure better than of a Belize IBC or such. But I am afraid HK is losing it's usability actually, especially for...

Hong kong company formation ? Many benefits

Consider: "Tax exemption for non-HK source profit even for HK registered company" - that is not free - the exempt can be difficult. But yes, I think HK is not bad, if you are in Asia anyway.

Offshore Company + Bank Account + Paypal Required

I think a local agent in Belize could format an IBC (with bank account) and also be it's (nominee?) director. Than the agent could also create and verify a PayPal account there. That agent would have all local documents needed (like proof of Belize address) and as director he would be the...

Hong Kongs Profit Accounting: A Reliable Accounting Firm for Offshore Companies

HK is generally a good location, I'd say. But it might not cover all one can wish for. And it's not the cheapest. BUt also not the most expensive one.

    hong kong company setup

Yes, I still do have one there (actually more than one) and some business partners do so too. I would not say I know a lot. EG I have not entirely gone thought the exemption process. So I can tell how much work it actually is. But I hear from different people that it is not as easy as one would...

Hong kong company formation ? Many benefits

Yes, I know many people/companies of expats and digital nomads that set up and use a PayPal account in HK without being resident there. You have to travel there (for the bank account) so it will cost a 4 digit amount (US$/Euro/£) gto set that up.

Offshore Company + Bank Account + Paypal Required

So summarizing for PayPal: @ProtectAssets said - Gibraltar works (no withdrawal to local bank account) and - Hong Kong works (not really tax-free but offers withdrawal to a HK bank account). I can confirm Hong Kong works well with PayPal, but ... a HK company is not that cheap (accounting...

Hong kong company formation ? Many benefits

Correct me if I am wrong, but ... a HK company can (easily) have a fully operational PayPal account (personal experience). PayPal is more restricted in let's say Belize, if at all possible (please !!! correctly if I am wrong). I'd say HK is price-wise in the middle. Belize or Gibraltar would be...

Hong Kongs Profit Accounting: A Reliable Accounting Firm for Offshore Companies

@sam-anderson : Chinese is not the issue in HK. It's all English. But the issue with HK is, that they have no dedicated offshore company (like IBC). It's just a limited. Any LTD has to file taxes and pay them. ONLY if a company applies for exempts it can have tax-free income from overseas. BUT...

    hong kong company setup

@GoGoldPro: What does Masson de Morfontaine charge for a LTD ? Do they mention that getting tax exempt for overseas income is not exactly easy? (They should at least when you ask) @Gunter: Check if the government fee for the BR (Business Registration) is included. Without a BR you would not be...

    Hong Kong Incorporation

I think it's because getting tax exemption for offshore income is a pain in the a*s (I hear from many sides). Set-up agents don't say anything about that (if you don't ask) and on paper it seems to be easy to pay no tax on offshore income.

    Let's sum up, Offshore comp+cyprus acc.+PayPal

Yes and no ... If it's for a company (like an LTD) than it would be the country if incorporation (might work elsewhere too, but you might need extra papers or it might be impossible - not sure) If the account holder is a natural person (private account for example) it can be different from your...

    Let's sum up, Offshore comp+cyprus acc.+PayPal

The isle of Man is part of the UK. So it should have the same few issues as you would have in the rest of the UK. ( I say "should" as I did not try is myself). BUT: VAT applies for transactions as it does in the rest of the UK which might be a big issue. It was for me to not think of the IoM...

    Let's sum up, Offshore comp+cyprus acc.+PayPal

Well, there seem to be a few options: Did you check Labuan (costs roughly $7000 ($2000 for the company service provider + $5000 in tax) per year if you want no auditing, or $2000 + 3% of your profit plus auditing required) ? Did you check Isle of Man (VAT can be an issue or an advantage)...
