    I always do the same never use the SWAP function in Ledger, Trezor or Exodus, they charge a lot which you can do for a fraction with a little more work by doing it like you said, send the money to kraken or binance, do the exchange there and get the coins back to your wallet.

    Did you proceed with the idea to setup a Dubai company ? I just heard that you can buy some property in Turkey and get a passport included if you do so, here you can get a new name etc. so that would provide real anonymity I think.

    I would say that it completely depends on the country where you buy property, how it is purchased -for example, personally or through a company - and whether other measures have been taken to conceal the purchase of the property. The Russians and the Chinese are masters of this kind of cover-up.
