I have heard lot's of good and bad about Latvia banking! I'm not sure if it's really bad to bank there or if it is just propaganda to keep people away from this country and their banking!

But isn't it better with insurance than banks without?

best is to get a SIM from the same country as the passport and utility bill is, otherwise it won't work with them!!

Isn't it the same as an introducer you mean?

If possible open a real bank account and if you don't mind privacy sharing, otherwise go for EMI account for your business and privacy!
