I can only recommend the incorporation of your business in Cyprus. It's an easy process and it opens up all doors for your business when it comes to cross boarder transactions, trade in Europe and payments to and from your vendors and customers.

It looks to me that the BVI is a great offshore jurisdiction along with other others but they just have made it a complicated process to incorporate your business there. It seems also that they have been under pressure from other European nations to improve their DD procedures.

Yes we decided not to proceed with the BVI company formation because of all the troubles there were to get the process started. The are endless documents and information one has to provide in order to incorporate their business in the BVI!

Is privacy the only "point" you can check in regards to nominees? Our agent told us that nominees can help to determ exactly where the control and management of the company is and if it comes to any complication while someone is questioning this then it's easier to proof.

Yes! I did so and it seems when you choose a Cyprus trading company you best option to avoid tax on dividend, Royalty's and others is to register a Seychelles holding company once we get so far. But thanks for your input anyway.

Yes this is also what our agent told us. Establishing a Holding Company in the Seychelles and then the Cyprus company formation... we are just waiting with the Seychelles corp. for now to see how it will go with the business.
