Which Jurisdictions most hidden & not sensitive to court orders etc.?

You just made your life a lot harder, as most secretive/uncooperative jurisdictions are on black lists which make it very hard to open bank accounts. Maybe you are lucky with Transferwise. Can you do it? yes, but you'd better have a sound business plan and compensate your lack of transparency...

Best places for formation/banking for consulting

Best places for formation/banking for consulting

The people that are doing this Paraguay thing are not living in their home countries while claiming to have their center of life in Paraguay. That would be really dumb. However, doing this Paraguay thing while being a permanent traveler, or switching between 2 or 3 locations during the year, is...

Which Jurisdictions most hidden & not sensitive to court orders etc.?

Look up for Cook Islands, they have a solid Trust legislation and an uncooperative legal system.

Some banks in the US offer EUR accounts as well. Look out for European banks with US branches.

Whats your thoughts about Transferwise now?

I used them daily. While from time to time they ask details on certain transactions, it seems to follow a random pattern and so far, no problems.

    OCBC Singapore Experience

Just normal documents, like passport and proof of residency. Here's a little secret: OCBC accounts for non-residents come with high minimum requirements, such as S$200k balance. However, you may open a trading account at OCBC Securities with just $1k, and they'll open a bank account for...

    OCBC Singapore Experience

30k minimum per balance, i.e. USD30k if you have USD, plus SGD30k if you have SGD and so on. I contacted them directly, I see no point in using an agent for this introduction and it was so simple and easy that if the agent implied otherwise it'd be an outright scam.

[FOR EU CITIZENS] Problems when going Offshore - List

I brought cash. It was a better decision because as I discovered later, ATMs in Paraguay only disburse $300 per operation, and you pay a fixed fee in each withdrawal.

[FOR EU CITIZENS] Problems when going Offshore - List

About $2500 in fees + a $5,000 deposit which you can redeem at the end of the process. It's for proving you having "financial means", quite funny if you ask me how one could establish somewhere and live off $5,000. Regardless, you must pay the deposit in cash and only you may redeem it later on...

[FOR EU CITIZENS] Problems when going Offshore - List

The Life & Residence certificate only says that you live in a certain address, it has nothing to do with tax residency. I never had any problems opening bank accounts in Paraguay and abroad (including the US), offshore companies, brokerage accounts and crypto-exchange accounts using the LR...

[FOR EU CITIZENS] Problems when going Offshore - List

If you do the immigration process by yourself, then you need to rent an apartment. If you use a good consultant they'll arrange for an address (don't ask me how) which can be used for official purposes, and for which the government will issue a Life & Residence Certificate which is the best...

[FOR EU CITIZENS] Problems when going Offshore - List

In my case I never bothered getting a TIN there. With the ID and a certificate of residence (you get an official one stating your address in the country), I was able to open offshore bank accounts and register companies stating Paraguay as both my residence and tax residence. A TIN was never an...

OCBC - a visit is required. It seems to be a demand from regulators. Also for some reason individual accounts for foreigners have a much higher relationship balance. For most banks it seems you can arrange a visit to a branch overseas if there is one.
