FX broker where to exchange currency

Unfortunately, got banned from TW last week. Reason not disclosed. Hence why I'm searching a new “currency broker” to replace TW. I'm from Europe. Unfamiliar with the US payment methods (ACATS is brand new to my ears). I'll research. Fees ? That, but also the convenience of their option tools...

Yep sorry, typo :) Don't have a US bank account to ACH ...except, do you know if I can withdraw out of InteractiveBrokers (UK for me) directly to other american brokers (tastyworks in my case), without passing by my own bank account in between ?

Not possible with Oanda to withdraw another currency than the initial deposit one. However, they have that parternship with TW but it requires an account with TW on its own

FX broker where to exchange currency

Taking as reference InteractiveBrokers, which offers multi-currency balances and permits, outside of speculative trading, to convert one currency into another. Exemple : deposit EUR, change it to USD balance for 0.2% (min $2) balance, then withdraw in USD (first free per month, then $10...

TransferWise alternative to save on FX conversion fees

Unfortunately, it seems like most if not all currency brokers, like WorldFirst, CurrencyFair and the likes, are closed to Andorra I think I'm gonna use InteractiveBrokers for currency conversions. At 0.2% trading fees + free (1st withdrawal if the month) then $10 for withdrawal, it should beat...

1%, so that's more than TransferWise Tentatively trying to reply to my own queries. Correct if wrong So this really is a currency broker 1) +1% over interbank rate. Constantly ? Unsure 2) no IBAN. Send funds away at their name 3) through SWIFT network 4) no fees on their side for individual...

What I don't appreciate is that they asked for documents (photo) and information (my bank account details), like they were going to proceed for the refund immediatly, then only to stop to communicate entirely. That's deceiving, and mean if that's a trick.

TransferWise alternative to save on FX conversion fees

I'm more worried because a week before the desactivation, I initiated an outbound transfer. That money never arrived to the destination recipient. Now, even if this event happened before my account blocking, not overlaping, they won't handle me a proof document that this money was sent properly...

Since it's the weekend, I'll query you guys if you don't mind... 1) What about their currency rates, are they the mid market rates or about ? Do they apply a fee on top ? Constant during all the days of the week (unlike Revolut which bumps during the weekend) 2) is it providing an account with...

@xzars thanks for the comments Will check WorldFirst Revolut ceased to service Andorra some time ago I'd rather avoid picky banks from experience. I have selected BBVA as my spanish pro account of choice, but haven't checked their conversion rates yet...

TransferWise alternative to save on FX conversion fees

Only 8 days of plain and simple communication blackout (only the support tells me that my query is queued to their busy schedule, unreachable competent service, while they were reactive initially)

bunq or N26 both use TW for non SEPA transfers. Are there other entities teaming up similarly servicing non EEA customers ?

TransferWise alternative to save on FX conversion fees

Surely, I provided them with all guenine documents requested to process with the refund they offered. Waiting patiently : I'm told their team is overbusy... the support of EMIs never been over-reactive (usually 3 days for TW). PaySera is even worse (sometimes a week), waiting for a bug fix since...

TransferWise alternative to save on FX conversion fees

Hi, For some reason I ignore, TransferWise desactived my account and won't explain why when I appealed for my case. Also, I'm struggling to get a refund of my balance for now. I learned about the free “debit/credit card to any bank account top up” service of Skrill, so that part of TW was not...
