    I still don't get this substance thing, for many countries, you're resident in a country if you live there most of the year, they don't care if you have a millionaire mansions or a CEO job in another state, so it really don't make much difference, am I missing something?

    I just read that considering Panama doesn't have a tax treaty with US, if the owner of a single-member LLC is a resident/citizen of Panama, even if the LLC is not ETOB you still need to pay taxes because of the lack of tax treat between Panama and US, is that correct or complete nonsense?

    So I'm an Italian citizen but resident in Panama, I'm going to open an LLC with a corporate bank account and a personal bank account as well, considering all the banks will ask my passport that is Italian, will the FACTA/CRS be reported to Panama or Italy or both?
