Thailand DTV visa and taxation/ tax residency

So, what are the current Tax implication of living in Thailand under the DTV or LTR visa? Considering these visas are for freelancers that work for foreign companies... Does Thailand expect these people to pay income tax in Thailand?

CFC rules in Europe by Country: Can someone clarify the following image?

Thanks. What about all other EU countries in the map above? What about those ones in gray such as Hungary and Romania? I don't find any info online other than vague responses from forums. Not my interest to move to Germany anyway :D

CFC rules in Europe by Country: Can someone clarify the following image?

Do you have any official references for that? that link isn't directed to any specific country. The sources I read from clearly say only some countries tax some types of income, while others tax the whole thing for foreign companies.

CFC rules in Europe by Country: Can someone clarify the following image?

It literally says Switzerland does not have CFC rules. The Germans may tax my dividends on a personal level but what about corporate profit tax? That's what I'm talking about. It says only passive income is taxed. Not active income (e.g: sale of products and services).

CFC rules in Europe by Country: Can someone clarify the following image?

So from what I read here, some countries tax all foreign companies, some countries only tax the passive income portion, and others artificial set ups. What does it even mean? Does it mean that if you manage an offshore company from the Netherlands or Germany, as the director of the company, you...

Romania: Does it have CFC rules? What's the current Tax situation?

The offshore company already has a nominee director. He's not a shareholder though. Does it work the same? I need a realistic answer, not a pessimistic one :D

Best way to set up company to charge customers Tax Free?

That is a problem. It is not seen very well from payment processors, and some banks, they want a real director (not a company) when you set up an account with them. Is there a way to simply "charge" the main company a fee to transfer the funds into the secondary (tax free) company and keep them...

Best way to set up company to charge customers Tax Free?

Is there any company (between the ones listed below) that allow the company to be used to charge clients for services/goods, and then transfer the funds tax free into a foreign company: (e.g: UAE company) without going into illegal tax evasion areas? For example: - Irish company used to set up...

Beckam-Law (Spain) : Can someone clarify how it works?

Beckam-Law (Spain) : Can someone clarify how it works?

I am aware under this law you don't get taxed at all if you receive foreign income. However the questions remains the same, would it be trouble if you settle in Spain, manage an offshore company of which you are the only director, and get paid in Salary/Dividends while in Spain? In terms of...

    HMRC - SME's cost 5.5b in tax evasion 2022/23

Tax Evasion? Don't make me laugh HMRC. People pay 30% in corporate tax and 40% in income Tax + VAT and they call us thieves, when the Government is the real and only thief here.

Risk of Tax issues in Eastern Europe: Valid or just Fear mongering?

Damn. Atrocious standards of living combined with high taxes and low corruption, these societies are becoming hell on earth for the average wealthy man.

Risk of Tax issues in Eastern Europe: Valid or just Fear mongering?

Let's say you moved to Hungary, or Romania or similar country, with an American passport. You set up your life there to live full time, you pay income taxes, and manage your offshore company from there (online services). Let's say one day the local tax office says you have to pay more tax and...

What does "withdraw" mean.... is withdrawing profits from the company into an investment vehicle such as crypto, gold or stocks, considered a "withdrawal" of the profits?

Estonia Corporate Tax: to pay or not to pay?

How does the Salary taxed only at 0,5% to 4,5% work in Estonia? are you talking about corporate tax here or personal income tax? There is no substance in the UAE, this is a 1 man company, I would live in Estonia 7 to 9 months a year, basically full time.
