If she is new at selling her products, she might want to try it out on sites like ebay or newer ones like 1000Markets. If she is good at what she does, I don't see why she should fail.- heather

Paypal transactions
Why would you try to avoid your responsibilities as a citizen, anyway? It is not worth it to my conscience. Besides, who would pay for the roads and police if good taxpaying citizens don't? -

Those suggestions may help you a bit, but my advice is to prepare now for the next one. Last time I learned that I wanted my business to be as creditor free as possible, so this time, while I noticed the lack of money coming in, I didn't have to stress about it so much.- heather

Exercise versus eating
I'm a little more on the 'path of least resistance' side, so I would prefer to eat less than exercise more. That snickers will taste good for about three minutes, but it would take almost an hour of heavy exercise to burn it off. I'd rather not eat it.- heather

Selling on Ebay
When I first started selling on ebay in 2000, it was great for us little people. I sold craft supplies and books. I had quite a following of loyal customers, but now ebay has done everything it could to push us little folk out, so I don't even sell there anymore.- heather

I agree that niche mareting is the only way to go. When I started selling, I tried to be everything to everyone, but now that I have whittled it down and whittled some more, my sales have slightly increased, which I am happy with since the economy is in the toilet.- heather

I have tried looking at Craigslist for work but all I have found are scammers. Of course, in my area, jobs are hard to find so that probably keeps the ratio of good to bad low.- heather

ebay and Paypal
I think it is rotten of ebay to not allow sellers to give buyers the option of personal checks or money orders. Don't they already have enough of a monopoly on what they do already? Just one more way to squeeze us for more fees. -

Which is better for a newbie
What is it about 'Blogger' that people say it is not a 'real blog'? I don't really notice anything different about them from other blogs. Does it make you more credible or something to have your own domain name?- heather

Business plan
I began my business with little more than a basic outline of a business plan, but thankfully it worked for me. I was able to beef it out a little at a time, but at the same time it helped keep me on track without being so strict that I would miss opportunities.- heather
