Euro Pacific bank is a scam

I have tried writing and phoning the Reveiver. He deliberately avoids contact with customers. As @Radko says he really doesn't care about customers. I think the Receiver is only going to respond to legal challenges. He's just happy for this to go on forever.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

We all accept this should never have happened but we have to fight to get our money back and focus on the best course of action to do whatever we can. At the moment we have to focus on getting the Receiver to tell us what the problems are and how he plans to fix them. He's been tasked with a...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

@Pschiff is it possible for your lawyer in Puerto Rico to put pressure on the Receiver to be more transparent with customers as to what the problems are and what he is doing to fix the problems? Since the freeze on the account was lifted by the Portuguese government the Receiver has failed to...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

I agree with @regi .I am very concerned about the integrity and motivation of the Reveiver and OCIF. I increasingly feel we need our own legal representation as customers.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

@Pschiff said a few days ago that he has a lawyer in Puerto Rico. Can't this lawyer question the Receiver and OCIF about what's going on ? If the Receiver is not trying to return customers' money but is only focused on prolonging the situation, then this is a clear fraud that the lawyer that...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

So the Receiver's strategy is to take money every month from customers through fees until there's nothing left for customers. Maybe this was the plan all along between OCIF and the Receiver.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

The Receiver has no photos of himself on his website and no images of himself anywhere on the Internet. The firm has no Google reviews either . Not one. I think it tells you a lot about him. Aloof, incommunicative, unresponsive, total disregard for customers. It all heightens suspicions. OK so...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

@Pschiff can you tell us what the remit of this lawyer is that you hired? What has this lawyer discovered so far ? Does the Receiver and OCIF have to engage with this lawyer ? Unbelievably insulting to customers that they continue to use the same statement month after month with no explanation...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

I was thinking we need a lawyer or someone to represent customers interests so that the Receiver acts in the best interest of all customers, that they can speed up the Receiver and try to dissuade these silly ideas of using a California bank . At the moment we do have Peter Schiff doing some of...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Yes all fair points you make. It's difficult to know what the right thing to do is . But at the moment it seems the Receiver is pursuing actions that might actually harm customers interests.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Well that lawyer was in Portugal dealing with the freeze on the account there. He wouldn't be relevant for any problems in Puerto Rico. We would need a Puerto Rico lawyer. So we could hire a lawyer to represent customers interests and make representation to the Receiver/OCIF? So what do...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Well maybe we can hire a lawyer in Puerto Rico then to pressure the Receiver but then how can we be sure a lawyer in Puerto Rico can be trusted to do a good job on our behalf? Ultimately the Receiver is only answerable to OCIF - the ones who started this whole mess in the beginning!

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

I think we all have to seriously think about going to Puerto Rico . What the Receiver is planning is a situation that sounds like another account freeze would happen in USA. That would give the Receiver an ideal situation for him where he gets to charge more fees until all our money ends up in...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

So Peter , what do you think customers should do now ? These plans to go through a Californian bank and also only using a US dollar account, clearly make no sense. We are "officially " being kept in the dark by the Receiver/EPB on these developments. So should we be writing to EPB objecting to...

I notice no customers from the USA are here on this victim forum. Have they been secretly paid their funds?

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Well I hope you can dissuade the Receiver from using a US bank. That is definitely one way to have our money frozen forever. I think the Receiver wants our money frozen forever so he can steal it all in never ending fees.

Thank you for replying. Oh no this guy seems ridiculous and seems more motivated to prolong the process to increase his fees. Depressingly it sounds as far away as ever of customers getting their money back.

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Peter can you tell us what the Receiver now needs to do facilitate the return of customers money. Customers are just tired of this whole situation and just want to get on with their lives and put the while thing behind them. It's just that it seems a never ending situation, so naturally people...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Well I haven't tried to call him since you suggested it would only delay him. But it doesn't seem to make any difference anyway. He's never there and he never seems to make any progress. The only progress he makes is adding to his own bank balance at our expense! This is just legalised...

Euro Pacific bank is a scam

A number of us have tried to call the Receiver but only to be told he wasn't in or call back in 2 hours - you just get given the run around. The lack of information from the Receiver/EPB is the ideal situation for conspiracy/scam theories to develop.
