Challenge> Need to pay $1M without leaving trace

Not local participants ... that would be too easy. Good point on the matchmakers. Also decent point on the virtues of patience.

Challenge> Need to pay $1M without leaving trace

Given a certain reluctance of banks in many jurisdictions when it comes to returning your money in the form of cash above what the hole in the wall provides .... that seems to reduce the number of jursidictions in which the operation might be carried out somewhat ... to put it mildly.

Challenge> Need to pay $1M without leaving trace

Funds are 100% legit sitting in a bank account in a reputable jurisdiction. Recipient want payment to be untraceable ... or as close to it as is possible. Both parties want to minimize legal risks. So how would you go about it?

Why not use lesser known jurisdictions?

I have no problems with Lex Talonis ... Lex Taxo on the other hand...

Why not use lesser known jurisdictions?

I would say significantly better than anyone here would be treated during a taxman shake-down.

Payoneer - this is it, secrecy is over

It means they want you to declare that you are not a resident in the USA. This form predates, by a lot, the current witch-hunt ... fill it in or you risk US Gubmint taking 30% of your holdings (if memory serves right from once I forgot about that damn thing) Beyond this it means nothing in as...

Basic Privacy Needed w/Solid Banking Options

In your particular case I believe there is no US bank that caters to small business that will refuse you (based on what you have shared here, they might refuse you for what you have not shared here though). For the rest of us the best bets tend to be Canadian banks in the US ... BMO Harris...

Basic Privacy Needed w/Solid Banking Options

Do a Canadian LP/LLP and open a US bank account due to the fact that your client is US based. As a US citizen you should find opening a US bank account for the firm very easy, and you have a totally valid reason as to why you want a US bank account given US client. Have an answer ready to...

Interesting development about CFC rules and Brazil

Interesting, yes Brazilian legal/taxation matters are very complex ... maybe only beaten by the US. If you have this confirmed by two independent qualified sources I would say you are good to go ... until the law or interpretation of the same changes again.

are business expenses via Crypto Legitimate??

This is just plain wrong. It is no problem to do so from an accounting point of view ... it is just that the gubmint will not accept any expenses that you cannot prove with documentation. This has nothing to do with accounting ... and everything to do with taxation.

Why do I need ANY tax residency?

As long as you do not stay more than 183 days in a single country you're good (some variations do exist). Yes, indeed they are a pain in the a*s ... and banking is a problem. So get residence papers from somewhere else.

    Canada LP (for non-residents)

You do not NEED to register a partnership, you do not even need to write a partnership agreement for a partnership to be established. You CAN however register the partnership ... in order to get those pieces of paper that the banks love to see. Note however there is no way you will be getting...

How to collect/hide/protect money? (have access to multiple passports)

I have major difficulties when someone asks me where I am from. Some of my responses have been known to be: Sorry, I did not understand the question. What to you mean? Samsonite/Tumi I just came from country X

    Canada LP (for non-residents)

Given that what you are setting up is a partnership it will often be designated "partnership agreement", this could be anything from a one-pager to several hundred pages of legalese drawn up by lawyers. You can call it Memorandum and Articles of Association on the title page if you want to do so...

Basic Privacy Needed w/Solid Banking Options

if you are trying to avoid reporting to the US bank account will be a major pain due to FATCA. If you don't mind then you might as well open a US account. If you require maximum confidentiality go for a lawyer ... if not roll your own. (DIY). It is no more difficult than setting up a delaware...

Basic Privacy Needed w/Solid Banking Options

That is correct, but consulting lends itself very well to the partnership model in general so it might be worth exploring for @somuchfun
