Crypto-to-crypto transactions are not taxed in Poland & Germany!

So usdc would be treated the same as btc or eth. But doesn't this also mean that if you've ever staked (maybe even lent or used defi) your crypto/stabelcoins then it's 10 years?

Crypto-to-crypto transactions are not taxed in Poland & Germany!

Ye but you'd have to live in germany... :) Joking aside, combining this with cyprus would be great. Does this germany tax free thing apply to stablecoins? And are there any caveats - I recall a post saying the 1 year turns to 10 years if you hold the coins but use them for staking for example.

Taking out a loan and leaving the country

Is being a criminal a good idea? That's what you're asking basically. You're 20, there's so much money you can make in a perfectly legal way. And yes, go consult with lawyers/ppl and tell them of your brilliant idea  ... contender for most idiotic post of year. At least you had the...

UAE announces new entry and residency rules

This is exactly the important point to be aware of. Getting a 5/10 year golden visa through investment sounds attractive, but not if it will making banking more annoying or mess with your current set up (that's working just fine). If they allow you to keep the designation your current setup...

UAE announces new entry and residency rules

Do banks prefer “normal” company sponsored visas over golden visas when it comes to stuff like crs? Or are you considered uae tax resident (from the bank's point of view) with both visas?

Offshore payout structure for Italian tax resident

Joking aside, is it really that bad if you're not Italian, and move to Italy for a couple of years? Assuming you pay the 100k flat rate.

European Commission calls to axe investor citizenship schemes with immediate effect

I mean, can anyone blame them? The constant push for tax harmonisation, incoming regs on gaming and financial services (grey areas that EU didn't regulate in the past, that Malta leveraged), and it's a island with god-level transportation costs - so expansion into mainland EU is a no go... how...

The simplest residency in United Dubai Emirates?

I know I know :) It's literally called a 'tax residency certificate' (Login), that's why I used the term. My query was more to establish if you applied for a TRC and whether there were any problems because your salary wasn't coming from a UAE entity. Apologies for the confusion.

The simplest residency in United Dubai Emirates?

Ye, that was my impression as well. Can you send yourself a salary from your foreign entity (to your personal UAE bank account) and apply for stuff like tax residency certificate?

The simplest residency in United Dubai Emirates?

Are banks actually opening corporate accounts for freelancers? Just curious, as I heard that it has become a nightmare in 2022, in general.

Crypto assets reporting in CRS - coming soon

Some already live in a reality where no home bank will accept proceeds from crypto, regardless of taxes. Faft will also start focusing on property soon, making property purchases via crypto (maybe even if the current funds are fiat, but the initial source was crypto) more annoying. Future is...

The simplest residency in United Dubai Emirates?

To apply for a personal tax residency certificate I believe you need to show a salary certificate/employment certificate + an official bank statement (assuming for proof of salary?). So a company or employment are your best bet. Also keep in mind that banks are taking forever to open corporate...

Freedom of movement for you might not be limited”¦ for your money and assets it's another story :) (exit taxes incoming)

Thailand & Crypto - Help in locating the facts!?!

The problem with tax discussions is that very often the actual laws are not black/white but include broad definitions up for interpretation, especially when it comes to crypto. In these situations having information of how the authorities have treated people in the past, and how they are...

Is Saudi Arabia and China looking to ditch the dollar in a new oil deal?

I'm sure the faft (*cough*USA*cough*) greylisting of UAE didn't help either.
