    Thailand LTR + US LLC

If you bring cash and deposit it to thai bank account, is that remittance or not? What if you remitt less than 150.000 THB per year which is 0% tax bracket, do you need to file tax return?

Digital Nomads, Biz owners in Bangkok

@Skenners does Bangkok bank statement include your residential address in Thailand? How many years is their debit/credit card validity (expiration date)? If you need a new card, do they send it to your address in Thailand or do you pick at the bank...?

Digital Nomads, Biz owners in Bangkok

Make a stupid face, and ask them is this resident or non-resident bank account? If you gave them thai address, thai phone number, have long-term thai visa, they did't give you CRS self-certification form...you're treated as resident.

Digital Nomads, Biz owners in Bangkok

That was just (a bit nosy) KYC/AML disclosure. 1. CRS exchange is with country of residence, not citizenship 2. He was not asked where is he tax resident, what is his TIN there, where is his utility bill...etc.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

I'm not interested in being right, but in what works. And perpetual traveler with "tax residency of nowhere" doesn't work. Maybe in tax fairytales.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

@karishi is originally from EU, that is why I'm talking from EU perspective. From what I have seen, there are 4 types of debates/users here: 1. USA residents and citizens 2. EU residents and citizens 3. UK & ex-UK territories residents and citizens 4. everybody else I'm talking about point 2...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

That is only possible if you don't use any FI accounts and don't have any taxable income. But for that, you don't have to be perpetual, nor traveler. Otherwise you are always in a position of: country of citizenship A vs country B/C/D/E... and using OECD model described above.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

It says both states or neither states. Perpetual traveler wants to be resident in neither states (i.e. changing countries every 3 months...etc.) and saying "Hey, I'm tax resident of nowhere!".

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

Every DTA has a definition of "resident" which is copied from definition by OECD: a) he shall be deemed to be a resident of the State in which he has a permanent home available to him; if he has a permanent home available to him in both States, he shall be deemed to be a resident of the State...

UK tax resident with UK Ltd planning a move to Thailand - What are my options?

@wellington do you mean - Thai Elite visa team helps you open Kasikorn bank multicurrency account, and everything transfered there is not under remittance rule as it's not THB currency? Is Thai taxman interested only in bank transfers from abroad in THB currency?

UK tax resident with UK Ltd planning a move to Thailand - What are my options?

You can deposit money on foreign bank account and bring it after 1 year. You can also bring up to $20000 cash to Thailand, as that is not considered remittance.

Revolut as a EU citizen (with UAE tax residency)? HELP

I noticed in Revolut app, you can't enter UAE phone number and you can't enter UAE address as UAE residents are not supported. But you can enter UAE tax residency. In this case CRS indicia says you're tax resident in EU country, so what is the point of entering UAE tax residency? In worst case...
