USA LLC and Cyprus non-dom. What taxes?

Wherever you run the LLC from you'll need to declare it and tax it as if it's a local company. This is the law just about anywhere, the reality may be different but can you rely on authorities not doing their job? How long will that last? They can start processing the data at any point and...

    Non-Dom Cyprus - 60 days rule

Why would you even notify the other country about your tax residency in Cyprus ... ? Simply start using your Cypriot tax ID with bank accounts and tell them nothing about your other residency. The account information will only be reported to Cyprus. So far I haven't found any way how the other...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

To get 6% you'd need to employ someone. So it will be 6% + the fixed expense of salary. Otherwise it's 8% in total. To be completely compliant to be able to live wherever you want in the EU, you'd need to employ someone though, to create an economic substance in Romania. So there's pretty much...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

Doesn't seem like a micro-enterprise is eligible for the dividend withholding tax exemption. https://www.fiscalitatea.ro/impozit-dividende-nerezident-cum-impozitam-corect-5545/ "impozit pe profit" means profit tax, a micro-enterprise pays "impozit pe venit", revenue / sales tax. Therefore a...

Can anyone confirm that a Cyprus non-dom resident owning a Romanian SRL micro-company will be exempt from the 5% tax on dividends in Romania, so in total dividends will be totally tax free?

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

Thanks. I guess if I wasn't registered for residency in Cyprus before that I couldn't be a tax resident there, so the Registration Certificate should suffice.

So that means you can obtain a Cypriot tax ID without being obliged to declare your previous residency at all.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

Yeah but you'll register yourself with the Civil Registry and Migration Department first, as linked above. You'll obtain your Alien Registration Certificate with your Identification number. And then you'll fill the TD2001 form to obtain your tax id, with your new Identification number.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

As I understood that's for exceptional cases where you can't provide any of the above. Once you register with the immigration office you should be able to produce a Cypriot identification number.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

Maybe I'm blind but I don't see it anywhere. http://www.moi.gov.cy/moi/crmd/crmd.nsf/All/69E690A161D174D6C2257D2C0045750B?OpenDocument As you can see you're not obliged to provide anywhere your previous residency.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

Which ones? I've lived in multiple EU countries and none asked for a proof. There are even some countries that don't ask these questions at all. I could put in those forms whatever I wanted. And I believe if you moved on the 1st of January, there's no need for them to even investigate that since...

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

When I moved from one country to another they didn't want to see any proof of where I was before or where I'm moving to.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

You can say you're moving there from Thailand or wherever ... it's not like they require a proof. As far as I know you can be considered a tax resident in multiple countries in the same year, because requirements are different. Then it depends on the double tax treaty to determine what income...

Delaware LLC or similar stable structure for investing

Not sure how it can be effective for tax planning when you're obliged to tax it in your country as a branch of a foreign corporation, and additionally everything is being reported through automatic exchange of information between the US and your home country so you cannot even hide it.

Tax residency reporting within the EU?

If I start renting a second apartment in another EU country and register for residency there too, obtain their tax ID, will there be some reporting between the current and the new countries, if I don't indicate on tax return in the current country that I've moved out, and on the tax return of...

The US is not part of the CRS, but it has FATCA agreements with countries all around the world. Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

True, you'll save yourself 2.35% in case Romania decides to apply the 5% tax for you as a Cypriot resident. On top of that you'll have costs of running the company, and added bureaucracy. I read some time ago incorporation services in Cyprus are not exactly cheap as lawyers are always inventing...
