Experience with running a company in Hungary?

Ok, so I'm in Hungary, got a Hungarian company. So far my impression is that the country loves bureaucracy and nothing is simple. You have 3 different ID cards, Registration card, Address card, Tax card, and probably some more that I haven't encountered so far. They take weeks to arrive and...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

No it does not, I've already described it somewhere in the forum. I got a reply from a Romanian lawyer who confirmed me what I suspected - the exemption only applies to companies taxed on profit. Since a micro-company is taxed on revenue, the exemption is not applicable and has to pay 5% no...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

I've made it to Hungary. So far my impression is not the best, my new landlord has tried to rip me off right in the beginning. Wouldn't even wait for the end of the lease to try to steal the deposit like everywhere else ... just right from the get go tried to squeeze out fraudulently as much...

    US LLC + Cyprus residency

That depends on the tax treaty and on the local tax authority. Some treat it as income, some as dividends. Some treat an LLC as a tax-transparent entity, some treat it as a company.

IS PANAMA A GIANT MOUSETRAP (FOR ITALIANS) ?

Nothing is shared through the CRS within the same country. If you have a tax residency in Panama, have their tax id, and open a bank account there, nothing will be reported to anyone.

FYI: US LLCs are not anonymous at all - everything is automatically reported

Every foreign-owned LLC must be reported to the IRS.

    Hungary - good incorporation services?

    US companies mostly.

    Hungary - good incorporation services?

It's going to be a dead simple situation. 1 owner / director resident in Hungary, no employees, main activity will be consulting, minimal expenses: office, accountant, director's salary. No cross-border setup.

    Hungary - good incorporation services?

What's a typical price of accounting and payroll per month for a one man company?

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

I have a reply from 2 lawyers. And that's what I suspected given that the company is taxed on revenue, not profit. The ANAF didn't offer any useful reply ever. You calculate it the same way as if you were left with BTC only in your account at the end of the year. You take the current value in...

What's up with Malta btw? Why didn't you like it there?

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

A UK holding company would work just as well. According the the DTT, the WHT on dividends is reduced to 0%.

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

Indeed. Also to add, Budapest is the main hub of Wizzair. You can get there for cheap from almost anywhere. And once you have an apartment there you can use it as a base for cheap travels too. For me Hungary is optimal, ticks all the boxes. Except the language.

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

Why is a holding setup expensive? A Cyprus company formation is considered expensive and costs only 500 EUR in fact, for example. Opening a bank account is a PITA, but you need to plan for it, and in the EU you have a freedom to open a bank account with any institution anywhere. To give you an...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

As I wrote, you can easily reach those expense levels with any trading. Any gainful sale is counted as a revenue in it's entirety, while the costs of purchasing the goods are nondeductible. The same goes for trading financial instruments. If you trade often enough, you can rack up many profits...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

The way you write numbers you must not be European. Anyway, yep, but this is easily achievable if you do some kind of a trading. If you do purely consulting a Romanian company is more tax efficient. To me saving 3% at best is not worth it when it has a capacity to bankrupt me. Having a holding...

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

Yeah I know about that. I won't do any business with clients in my home country. Besides they don't pay well anyway. The DTTs are really simple to understand. They're all more or less the same. Once you understand one you understand them all.

    Romanian SRL micro-enterprise dividends + Cyprus non-dom ?

You should read the DTTs and EU directives. Not sure what kind of a random check can lead to an investigation when there's no link, and even if it is, it's all legal. By actually residing in HU, renting an actual office there, and doing all work for it only from there the company and its profits...
