    Looking for EUR debit card

Hi! Looking for debit card. In EUR. Available to load it with crypto for low or no fee. Not licensed in Spain. If possible, not licensed in Europe neither. Have crypto.com right now but they are licensed in Spain, so would rather avoid. Thanks!

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Hey there! Almost one year has passed. This year I made about 70-80k€ not bad considering I was pretty much on holidays for 5 months since may to september lol In the end decided to remain "under the radar" for this 2023, so my situation has remained the same as it was in february (and of...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Most likely only applies for exchanges with license in Spain (binance, bybit and a few more). we have the cutest hacienda in the world, even faster than the EU in trying to tax everything about crypto as it says in the article. EU in 2026 and we already have it here in 2023 lol Thanks for the...

I mean you gotta have to pay taxes on your profits.... if you can be more specific about it I could search into it but I'm 99% sure there's gotta be taxes to be paid, never heard of anything even remotely close to that here in Spain!

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

There is no crypto to crypto trade but there is definitely a capital gain? Still taxed at 21%+ sadly :D Tax is calculated at 31st december no matter how frequently or how much volume you trade! You pay the same for one trade or 100 trades. 19-26% (mostly 21-23%).

Same in Spain. Just capital gains tax at 21-23 up to 200k Although in Spain crypto to crypto is taxed.

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Problem with that, besides paying 28%, is that you could be considered professional/business, if you make like 100k in a year, and be taxed as a professional at income tax rates and be fucked severely. I think Spain gotta be one of the very few countries in the world where you get taxed as...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Yes I have investigated more and Portugal https://www.fresh-portugal.com/blog/guide-to-nhr-tax-benefits-for-expats holy s**t it was up to 1125€ PER MONTH! I saw 1125€ and assumed it was per year lol what a scam 14.9% up to 13k per year??? lmao for that price id rather have private...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Yeah there are options with or without KYC for now, but the general trend is prohibition of those and that exchanges will operate under Spanish licences, and therefore remove derivatives/futures/leverage/margin tokens. I'm having a more future centered vision here (for short term could easily...

Effective tax rate when self-employed in Portugal

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Hey there! Been investigating a little bit more. So about NHR... it seems like it's very easy (almost automatic) to get, many people that get it are not even workers they are pensionist.... so you get it, but in order to declare taxes as self employed under it, it's gonna be more difficult, if...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Yes yes if you hold over a year it's 0% but I'm a trader, was asking more specifically about the NHR and if there was a way to lower that 28% on capital gains..... Yes golden visa for non EU got more difficult now, NHR still ongoing

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

You sure about that??? That was before the new law on crypto and was my plan I had decided, play poker make 20k declare as main source of income and then crypto at 0% but as I say they changed the law. Also, why would I need NHR for that if I could ask? And also, how difficult it would be to...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Yes especially having a big audience, and taxmen all watching his videos, his suggestions/modus operandi....it.makes it easier for them to go against his strategies just because he's very well known. But there is some value in watching his videos. Just don't follow any advice that sounds bizarre...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Yes not everything he says is super illegal and you can get some very good ideas and also he knows a lot of stuff that's for sure. But most suggestions are bizarre/outlandish/against the law. Also he is expensive af cause he has managed to get a big audience: 4 hour live consultation 1800€, 1...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Thank you. I have checked Portugal conditions and I'm not sure paying under 28% is possible so sadly will have to consider other options including Cyprus! Gonna look into it... Yeah problem is after March you have to KYC at Bybit, and you might end into problems if you forget to open VPN...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

Oh ok so just get NHR and all winnings as income tax at 20% sounds sweet, no need for anything shady. I also have a few BTC I bought in mid november that I could potentially hold for a year 0% but I think its source might be hard to justify haha Either way I need to contact some lawyers, I...

Trader deciding between Spain and Portugal

I'm kind of in shock right now... we truly live in a taxhell with a communist government enemy of individual sovereignty and freedom Yes 20% is already good for me if I could get the NHR, I'm gonna contact some lawyers, I think fiscal year in Portugal goes from Jan to Dec so no rush.
