    Personal accounts in Singapore\Hong Kong

I opened it in Singapore back in 2011. Things were easy back then. Min deposit was 20k usd and they wanted you to deposit it in 90 days. When you fall back that amount, no problem. They started to charge 30 usd a month for balance less than that amount then increased to 50 USD. However, new...

Turkish banks - anyone has experience?

It seems they made it easy since we host 5-7 million refugees in Turkey... Getting TAX ID is easy, not every bank may want to do business with foreign companies though. Language barrier is another thing. They also want a contact phone and address in Turkey (virtual office should work)

    Personal accounts in Singapore\Hong Kong

I managed to open Standard Chartered back in 2012 in HK. Their online banking was so poor, I hardly transferred my 1000 USD initial deposit back to my local bank (it doesn't say how much it'll cost to send a Swift, so transaction fail etc) It is probably closed due to inactivity and they were...

Turkish banks - anyone has experience?

Yes a business bank account. It seems foreign businesses can also register for Tax ID and then they can apply for a bank account with noterized/translated company documents and perhaps a personal visit? As long as foreign company is not doing business in Turkey (no office, employees, income) it...

Ombudsman means negotiator between two parties (you and me, you and a company etc). They handle disputes and tries to make you negotiate in order to reduce stress on the Judiciary system (Courts). At least that's what they do in Turkey.

Turkish banks - anyone has experience?

Btw there are lawyers claiming they can get TAX ID for your foreign company and then apply for a bank account in Turkey. I guess it is doable and I haven't given up on the idea. However, I'm wondering if I'm the stupid one who's trying to open a Turkish bank account for his (Turkish national)...

I thought US based income is taxed in American LLC companies (delaware or wyoming llc) ? My friend said, even as a non-resident or foreigner, if you receive money to an American bank from USA sources you are going to pay tax for it. Can anybody enlighten me if I'm wrong?

Turkish banks - anyone has experience?

So I called my bank and they said they can't open a corporate account for foreign entities. They need tax ID in Turkey which you can get by creating a branch office in Turkey but then I'm not sure what would be the tax liability. I need to do more research.

Turkish banks - anyone has experience?

I'm Turkish living overseas so maybe they make an exception for me? :) I'm not tax resident in Turkey, so I don't fear to bring funds to Turkey from abroad but there is so much you can do with an individual account due to compliance checks.

Limited Partnership LP/LLP Business Bank Account?

My payments will be in USD so I'm not sure Revolut would work for me? I need to split 50-60k USD a month of incoming payments to my informal partners (3 people including me) and doing that from a personal account raises all kinds of red flags which I'm getting problems and warnings from my...

Limited Partnership LP/LLP Business Bank Account?

Hi, Is it possible to open an offshore bank account for a Canadian LP or LLP company? It is a limited partnership so it isn't an LLC or Limited company. Some locations in Canada don't require an audit or paying corporation taxes for your LP/LLC and it makes it ideal for some people. I've heard...

I never heard a Singapore bank opens an account for tax-haven offshore companies. I'm glad that it worked out for you.
