Damn, I see. I don't mind account termination as long as we get our cash back.

    Airwallex business account frozen

We do e-comerce. The reason they froze the account I think is because we received payments from Stripe to a different beneficiary (not our company name), that's because we acquired 2 online stores that were registered under an another company name. They asked for documents showing we acquired...

Our Airwallex business account got frozen 3 weeks ago. They asked a bunch of questions and requested various documents. I managed to provide most of them but our account is still frozen and I after asking for updates several times I get no answer from them. I heard Wise does freeze accounts...

VISA/MASTERCARD don't accept non-resident owned US LLC - need EU UK or Lithuanian LLC

Yes I found a solution, and very happy with the current setup :) This setup is explained in my post here: [USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ? Basically you need 2 LLC's, one is taxable and will be used as payment gateway. The 2nd one is transparent and will be used to...

    UK bank accounts privacy ?

Yes I am resident in EU. There are services that offer a temporary address + utility bill for the purpose of opening a bank account in another country. I thought that would solve the CRS thing

    UK bank accounts privacy ?

I currently live in the EU and I need a bank account to cash out US income. Opening a US bank account would be the best option but it's impossible in current situation for non residents. I was thinking about a UK bank account with a temporary address in the UK. Is it a good idea ? Are there...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

I think Strip fees depends on the location of the customer (US credit card have high fees than EU Credit Card) Screenshot from their website: Also I am almost sure FATCA only applies to US citizen. Quote from Wikipedia: "the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is a 2010 United...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

Shopify Payments is crucial for my business (ecom, dropshipping). Here is the list of supported countries: Shopify Payments requirements Some will say Stripe is the same (true, the engine is the same) but Stripe hates dropshippers, it's actually against their T&C. I process ~100k /month with...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

I don't know .. it's a risk to take.. Also he said 2nd step would be to move to Portugal and apply for NHR (like you also suggested) Another option he mentioned is to create a company in bulgaria but I don't like the idea so much

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

Thanks for the update! I talked to another tax planner like you suggested. Here is the setup he recommends: 2 LLC'S in Texas (1 LLC will collect payment via Stripe/Paypal while the other will charge the first one and cash the money out to me). He said that I could stay in Germany for a while as...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

The tax guy told me I could reduce profit by simply paying myself a salary. For example on $100.000 profit I can pay myself a $95.000 salary so only $5000 would be taxable at 21%. Then combine this with a no income tax residency. Regarding Malta and Portugal, I am looking for the easiest...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

The cheap living cost will probably balance that out :) I think a Maltese company would not be optimal for me as I need a US bank account + Stripe (I know there are alternatives but by far not as good as Stripe) so a US LLC or Inc. is a must. I currently pay thousands of € in fees monthly...

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

I will look into Portugal. If the tax advantage is the same I would choose Portugal over Malta too. Hopefully administrative stuff is not too complicated since its not in English

[USA] Inc. vs LLC - Is my tax planner trying to fool me ?

You are right. I actually really like what my tax planner offered me since the package includes: support for moving to malta, US-Director for the Corporation, Virtual office. Etc.. But the yearly costs are just too high. Do you know how much your friend pays for the corporation by any chance ?
