Bunq V3 Mobile update sucks - Worst mobile banking User Interface of 2020

Yeah this whole "going green" thing and now that V3 update is really annoying. They used to be so top notch especially also with any customer support or KYC / AML requests. So easy to deal with and always trying to just make it work for you like yesterday. Now this.... So love(d) their 5 ppl...

30.000? guess local currency. think the usual deposit is 6000 chf or so but yes you deposit first for them to do the kyc so if they dont accept you it will take a few weeks. real bank though, not really any scam reports. as mryellow said they wanted -a lot- of documents to get onboarded and...

They have been aroudn a while. If the high costs are fine for you than it does seem to be a perfectly fine solution. They are a bit picky in terms of what transfers you can receive (they dont want Revolut transfers e.g.) but other than that have never had an issue with them.

Bunq V3 Mobile update sucks - Worst mobile banking User Interface of 2020

Bunq does not require you to be a resident in Germany at all. You do probably need to be resident in one (by now i think almost all) supported EU countries. But they do allow US customers which can provide a EU address (according to faq and support but not tested yet) to that might not even be...

Bunq V3 Mobile update sucks - Worst mobile banking User Interface of 2020

I LOVE Bunq like seriously it is like the best fuckin thing out there in terms of banking BUT that V3 is just the biggest failure of a redesign ever. It was perfectly fine before. I am asking myself if i am simply too stupid to use V3. It does not make any sense to me and im literally not...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Not quite sure what that has to do with the taxation system at the moment but ... On another note as for the tax refunds. 2020 has brought a change into the system that apparently for some companies the 35% corporate tax has not to be paid but is directly calculated against the possible 6/7th...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Yes you do NOT pay until you actually get the confirmation of the tax refund. Usually your accountant will get that by email from the revenue office. They should know each other... After you have received the refund confirmation - you pay. So for 2018 - you would have - for the June 2020...

have you timed it all to last minute (which you should do) and waited for tax payment until you got the refund confirmation?

Malta Company Bank Account EUR SEPA / IBAN

I stuck to transferwise + revolut business at the end + payoneer, now stripe etc for speading incoming USD payments out a bit. Also Interactivebrokers for storage but most simply goes out as dividends instantly and i only keep tax payments around in the company. Also CIM, that would be a true...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Little update: Tax refund was transfered to me 10 days after my tax payment (including weekends + transfer times). Total tax leakage company + private pretty much spot 5% + 5k expat tax + approx 10-12k for two companies upkeep, books, filings etc. Cyprus or the stress with any of those real...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

the 5k is if you declare less than 35k worldwide income and in general less remitted money etc that a tax bill < 5k would be generated. you would then have to declare all your world wide income and if it is >35k you would have to pay the 5k minimum tax (not more no matter the income) I won't...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

none of these things if you are not employed / register as self sufficient no idea about seychelles but yes you can run foreign companies but you should do so through a Maltese company that is being held by a foreign company that is tax exempt e.g. gibraltar etc. CFC rules will come into play...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

If you are not employed and register as self sufficient + provide a private health insurance certificate (any private EU health insurance usually covers all of the EU no matter the residency) you are not liable to any social security, health care whatever taxes. you are also not liable to the...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

I could be wrong but i don't see the numbers working for Cyprus at all if you make a healthy profit + the Maltese system is so easy and clear cut. At the end of the day operating, living etc expenses will be similar and more likely to be a rounding error in the big scheme of things so it comes...
