Bulgaria vs Romania for a freelancer

That accounting company is a bit slow and not talkative, but they helped me on many issues. I've recently employed myself with their help. For residence ( CNP ) I recommend R&R partners. You need a rental agreement to apply for residency. For corporate banking - ING (English online bank)...

Bulgaria vs Romania for a freelancer

I've been in a similar situation myself and decided to pick Romania. I already moved here to a rented apt., got residency, opened a corporate bank acc., etc. Romania seems like a decent country with a good enough level of English. Also, all the prices are 2-3 times cheaper than in my original...

Life after Georgia - Best low-tax country within EU

Romania is cheap, has amazing internet, mountains and a sea. On top of that it has around 10% total tax (corporate + dividend) for micro companies ( up to 500k per year). I'm moving there myself from Finland now

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

Woah, that sounds really great for a long term investment. In my country CG tax is 30-35%.

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

I've heard that you have to pay 10% capital gains tax if you use your company's money for trading.

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

They do gave full support except for paying the taxes :)

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

Separate packages. I paid for 3y of virtual office 100e/year, accountant is 45e/month, bank is Wise since I'm not an EU citizen yet and nobody wants to open a corporate bank for me :)

Looking to set up an offshore investment vehicle structure

As a fellow Finnish taxpayer I recommend Romania. 3% revenue tax, 5 dividend tax, and 10% capital gains tax. Works for active business such as software dev, but also for investing. If you won't move out, you'll trigger CFC and pay 17% corporate tax in FI. But you can keep on investing until you...

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

1kk euro per year :) I just send them invoices, receipts and taxes. I think I send more than 10, but they still charge the minimum. You need to personally visit the country for the bank account opening. It's easy to open one with an EU passport, harder with a non-EU. You can use Wise business...

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

Glad to hear I could help :) I have also a rental agreement with them, cheap and nice. Accounting is also alright (around 45e). Unfortunately, I'm not an EU citizen yet, so no bank account for me ( have to use Wise + cash for taxes ). But it depends on the bank you're trying to open the account...

    Cheap Romanian incorporation services?

I paid around 2.5k for my formation (half of that for local VAT), but it was very unprofessional and slow. You can find those guys from the first results of Google :) My current accountant also provides those services, but their price for everything is 3-4 times cheaper. Called Reinvent...

Yet another Digital Nomad from EU

It's the opposite. You need to get RO tax residency so that other EU countries won't have questions for you. You don't need to pay anything that you mentioned above since you are going to get money through dividends (5% tax paid by company ). So after initial setup, you only pay: rent (300e+)...

Yet another Digital Nomad from EU

Can recommend Romania. I'm a software dev from Finland and created an LLC there. 3% revenue tax + 5% dividend tax. Around 40-50e for accounting. There's no minimum residence requirement, so you can rent an apartment for few hundred euros and spend 5.5 months in Germany and the other time...

    Romanian micro-company

Thanks for the file. The requirements are cumulative, i.e. the more you have, the better. I'm planning to get a rented apartment and apply for residency right away (since I'll need to cancel my tax residency in my home country). Apartment + company (and minor things like driver licence, social...

Best country for a freelancer / digital nomad post-covid

I have Finnish citizenship, so that's not really an issue. Not sure how it's done from outside of EU, but formation of the company might help. At least for opening a company there is no EU citizenship requirement.

Best country for a freelancer / digital nomad post-covid

One issue with territorial tax in Georgia, Portugal etc. is that freelancing from there might be considered as domestic work by tax authority. Then they will just surprise backtax you at some point.

Best country for a freelancer / digital nomad post-covid

I had similar situation ( freelancer, moving out of Finland ) and after going through all available options I chose Romania. 6-8% tax is great for freelancer. You also get nice weather, great internet, cheap prices, in Europe (flights), EU VAT etc. No 6 months requirement to be a tax resident...

UAE vs Panama vs Romania Micro vs _____?

I'm going through the process of registering a micro company at the moment. You don't need a local manager or anything like that. You pay 3% tax on revenue if you don't employ anyone. You pay 1% if you have one employee with minimum wage (can be yourself). Accounting is cheap, 50-100e month. You...

    Romanian micro-company

I'm just starting the process of incorporation :) Will report how it went once the company will be operational.
