    Personal Wise account closed

Also, they deduct a 30% WTH regardless of your country of residence, which is incorrect. For example, most EU countries have a tax treaty with Belgium and also have WTH exemption in some cases (Belgium - Corporate - Withholding taxes) so their WTH of 30% regardless of the country of residency is...

BVI or Europe? Where makes most sense?

Those accounts I think are held by Wise Inc and not by the LLC so no need of reporting, but double check it, also if you have less than the equivalent of $10.000 in it no need to report as well.

Question FATCA agreement between USA and UAE

Yes it is not a reciprocal agreement like it has signed with other countries. Since in UAE there is no income tax they probably do not care and do not want the accounts of UAE residents to be reported because they will not do anything with them since there is no tax to be applied.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

This applies to every country you do not want to trigger tax residency, but especially to your home country.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

Better stay a little bit less in your home country and also make sure to completely cut ties to it, no home at disposals, cars, rental contracts, gym memberships etc, and everything else which could tie it to your home country.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

In theory even better, you could have a permanent place of residence OR have a business: "If he has been physically present in the State for a period of (90) ninety days or more, within the relevant (12) twelve consecutive months, and he is a UAE national, holds a valid Residence Permit in the...

Where would you invest 750k USD?

That is interesting! The only problem is if you are a UAE resident there is a 30% WTH tax applied on those dividends, which can be lowered down to 10-15% if you live in some other treaty countries.

UAE to introduce 9% corporate tax on business profits from June 1, 2023 (FZCO REMAINS 0%)

Transactions between free zones should be out of the scope of CT, but let's wait the opinion of a more experience person regarding this matter.

real estate investment in the US

My suggestion is to own the Real Estate using a US LLC and elect the activity as us trade or business because in this way you can deduct a lot of expenses connected to the real estate and even use depreciation of it to have huge tax savings like other Americans are doing. This is a field I am...

UAE to introduce 9% corporate tax on business profits from June 1, 2023 (FZCO REMAINS 0%)

Probably it is income which is not sourced from mainland, I read somewhere that if a Freezone has income from UAE mainland that income will be subject to CT so here they want to make a different between foreign income and UAE sourced income, probably. On the first line in fact it says: "A Free...

    AdSense whitholding UAE company

You can just change the country of your Adsense account, you can contact the support to do that, no need to create a new account. In theory about the WTH tax it applies only to US audience, so if you do not have any you should be good, but I have never tried that so if you go down this route...

Where would you invest 750k USD?

Guys, tbills are generally considered risk free (not by me but by the market itself), the only risk is a default of the US government, but if the US government defaults then the risk that comes with tbills is the least of your concern. US is not Argentina...

I am in a similar situation, with even more capital at my disposal, around $2-3M, and would like to know if there are some other good opportunities apart from stock & bonds which might be worth considering. Portugal NHR + Luxemburg company

Yeah, totally! Yeah it says Georgian-based there so in theory it opens to Georgian residents even if they are not citizens but this is not that clear and reading about that other article you sent me it makes things even less clear (red flag). It is not an issue to hire a Georgian citizen as...
