    Belize vs Panama

I haven't dealt with Belize but I have with Panama. Personally I would lean towards Belize. Belize has a couple decent international banks that will have no problems opening an account for a Belize IBC. Outside Belize if you're trying to further diversify, I don't know about acceptance but I'm...

A bit lost... someone can help me :)

Might be more than you want/need but you could also consider an onshore operating company to do business and a second offshore company to shift the profits to. You would have easy access to stripe, paypal etc with the onshore company and your taxes would be reduced as this company can have no or...

Starting A Foundation In Seychelles, Panama - Massive Issues

If you're going to use a protector then yes, I would seriously consider that person's residency for tax purposes.

    Nominee directors and shareholders

The most important question is why are you considering nominees? And what are you trying to achieve? You can achieve some basic privacy with nominees but it wont help you legally avoid taxes or hide from a thorough investigation. You need more to your structure to achieve these things.

Starting A Foundation In Seychelles, Panama - Massive Issues

A protector is indeed also another way to go. Just be careful how you much power you give the protector though. If they can effectively control the foundation they could be liable for tax under CFC laws.

Can I give a loan to another offshore company and close mine?

I haven't had any of my banks request anything like this yet. If they did I would change banks.

    Cost of using nominess

Cheers. That's quite reasonable and around what I expected. It's just this $200/hour to read a contract I'm unsure of.

Urgent: need advice on setting up a bank account in Singapore

Not at all. Generally you pay tax where you're a resident or where you derive the income (sometimes both). Moving money in and out of a bank account is simply that; moving money. It doesn't produce any income.

Urgent: need advice on setting up a bank account in Singapore

You didn't mention if it's non-resident personal or company? I have my main company account in Singapore and transfer in and out for cryptotrading. I didn't tell them about it though (I actually wasn't trading back then) and I do have other activity so it isn't the sole purpose. I think your...

Why I would care if bank reports me to my home country?

Is the PO Box the residential address or the mailing address? It's rare to see a bank allow a PO box as a residential address. If so though, that is where they would be reporting as thats where they believe you are a resident.

Choosing agency to open offshore company

Knowledge and ongoing information from the agent is important to me. First agent I used was fine for a basic setup. But whenever I asked questions beyond the initial incorporation, they didn't know. They were simply incorporating, opening bank accounts etc without any real knowledge or interest...

Since when you're having an offshore bank account and WHY?

Different banks for different reasons. Singapore is one I like. It's a strong stable jurisdiction but requires a visit and has high minimum balances. For ease of use the account in Colombia can't be beat. Still has the old school service. I have a dedicated account manager who I simply email...

Since when you're having an offshore bank account and WHY?

Opened my first offshore bank about 5 years ago. I use or have used several personal and corporate banks in different jurisdictions since then. Every bank is different. Some have been great. Some have been a royal pain in the a*s....

    Cost of using nominess

I'm just wondering what some normal costs are for using nominees beside those stated up front. Things like signing contracts, minutes of meetings and resolutions etc. Just trying to get an idea if my nominees fees are in line with industry standard. As an example, if my nominees charge $40 to...

    Forex Day Trader/nomad IB advice

@Johno The advice above regarding becoming a non-resident is good but it is wise to obtain or plan for residency elsewhere also. Without having a jurisdiction you can prove tax residency, you can open yourself up to claims from many jurisdictions and nothing to cover yourself. I know Australia...

Starting A Foundation In Seychelles, Panama - Massive Issues

You do want to choose a good company you trust first and foremost. With mine, directly after setting up the founders rights are assigned to me (I used nominees). The founder, now me as I have been assigned the rights, is able to change the council should they act against your wishes.

Migrating personal expenses to business expenses

Each jurisdiction has their own rules regarding business expenses. I think you'll find many are more lenient that the US. Again depends on the jurisdiction but most should be fine. I'm not aware of the laws in the US regarding foreign entities owning property so check that but I think that is...
