Digital Nomad with dual citizenship looking for new Tax Residency away from UK

Gibraltar has mostly flights to London and a few to Manchester. You would probably need to use Malaga for other non-U.K. European destinations.

Just change it and then change it back later. I don't think you need to prove your location. Last time I temporarily changed to German it didn't even need any payment details.

Barney, so many British have Irish ancestors. Maybe you have any ? Problem solved.

    Armenia CBI

Apart from that - maybe they can fix it and exempt CBIs - it seems a good program. Passport gives you visa free travel to China and Russia, but not the EU. So it could be a good addition. Armenia is a nice country.

    Armenia CBI

Remember that Armenia lost badly in the recent war. So unless I am 55+ I would not feel super confident with this citizenship. Unless they clearly exempt CBI investors from even signing up at the military office. Why 55 years ? Vardanyan and Partners mentions on their website: ”žIf you are...

    Armenia CBI

Ok it doesn't sound that convincing. It says “generally”. I know poker player Dan Bilzerian did obtain Armenian citizenship by decent (google it) - and although he is a dual American + Armenian now, he did have to sign up to the military. Did he do it for fun ?

They have mandatory military service - unless they have exceptions for CBI applicants ?

EU CBI or few non-EU CBI?

Agree. Caribbean CBIs are not worth the money. Nothing beats a EU passport. *Unless you use the EU residency to obtain a EU passport down the line.

What does Habitual Residence mean in Portugal?

I think you will only get the citizenship NOT living there more than 183 days a year if you invest via the Golden Visa route. But you will have to prove strong ties to Portugal (google examples for that) and pass the language test. Otherwise if you don't go via the Golden Visa route, you would...

AMA On Colombia or Dominican Republic | Lets See If I can Help You Guys

I was reading somewhere that you can invest $200k, this way get permanent residency after 6 months - and then citizenship 18 months after that. Does that actually work ?

NON-EU Spouse Married to EU person needs EU residency permit without taxation

I don't get why you would get the golden visa. It gives you only the right to live in the golden visa country (Greece in this case). It doesn't increase the days you can travel in the EU (outside of Greece). So if you get the Greek golden visa but want to be in Italy, you will have the same 90...

Second Passport : What do you think about Antigua-and-Barbuda Citizenship?

Montenegro real estate for citizenship is way overpriced isn't it ? I mean it's similar to the Caribbean investment options if not worse. Also doing a quick check and EU negotiations with Montenegro have only closed 3 (!) chapters out of 35 chapters. So they still need to negotiate 32 chapters...

Second Passport : What do you think about Antigua-and-Barbuda Citizenship?

I think you are wasting your money. EU has already restricted the visa free entry for all Vanuatu citizenship by investment passport holders. Switzerland has recently followed. Expect the same thing to happen for the five Caribbean citizenship by investment passport holders in the next 1-2 years.

War will last a while. This one year residency will be extended again and once you live there 2-3 years you will be able to convert it into a permanent one. Just look back at Balkan wars and all the people who moved to the EU back in the 90s. The situation now is similar.

Yes but I am 100% sure that you will be able to stay indefinitely. But only in the 1st EU country you chose. It may not be easy to move again to a 2nd one (as easily as moving to the 1st one).

It seems Ukrainians can just pick any EU country at the moment and get a one year residency there with all the benefits that come with it: https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/ne...e-eu-explained-residence-education-work-more/ “Ukrainian refugees have the right to temporary protection in any EU...
