    Netherlands Company and Dividends

So lending out money to yourself is not possible in NL right? Funny it is possible in many other EU countries e.g. Poland, Estonia etc. where if you have a lot of cash in company you can lend it to yourself and set the T&Cs of the loan e.g. 50 years at 0.5% interest rate but from what you are...

    Netherlands Company and Dividends

Why wealth tax in NL is a good thing if you make crazy returns? Due to the fact that there is no capital tax gains on it and you pay effective rate of 1.75% wealth tax (every year!)?

    Dubai offer

Hi, I got an opportunity to move to Dubai - my company will support the relocation and offer package worth 80k AED (base salary + allowances). They won't pay for schooling or accommodation. Is 80k a good salary for a family of 3 (myself+wife+son) in Dubai? I am not talking about going out every...

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

Yes I am an expat and I don't want to mess up with NL Tax office I heard stories :) so that is why I don't want to cheat... Malaysia could be done by MM2H (but that is on hold at the minute), Singapore is more tricky I agree but I am in conversation with my employer to maybe relocate me...

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

No I didn't have to for the last 3 years as I was covered by something called here 30% rulling. In the nutshell for 5 years (I got it when it was 8 years) only 70% of your salary is taxed and you don't have to report worldwide income/wealth etc. so I didn't have to report my BTC but I will have...

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

Yes I could do 4-6% on lending out my crypto via BLockFi, Celsius etc. or sell some of it buy dividend paying stocks e.g. yielding 4% but than in the long term it doesn't help. As I don't want to sell for a long time it looks like that the best option for me is to move out to the other country...

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

Yes that is correct I got over €2m in crypto and I don't have cash flow to cover my tax obligations if I stay in NL in 2022 so to cover it I will have to sell the assets or relocate to a country where there is no wealth tax

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

See my previous answer roughly it is effective tax rate of 1.75% so yes €1m = 17k in taxes (every year) and so on.....
  14. M

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

Yes it is about 1.75% roughly so on €1m you need to have 17k free cash flow to pay it (every year) on €2m 34k free cash flow to pay it (every year) you get my drift.... so I don't have such a free cash flow so I would have to sell my assets to actually be able to pay taxes every year which I...

Company in UAE and capital paid in crypto

Is it easy to set up a company in UAE and use crypto (Bitcoin) which belongs today to me (private person) to transfer over into newly set up UAE based company and use it as a starting capital? The reason why I want to do this is to avoid wealth tax in NL.

Have anyone successfully leveraged Portugal NHR and paid 0% taxes?

Hi We are currently in Portugal for 3.5 weeks holiday exploring, looking at the properties, getting the feeling for the country. NHR is pretty straight forward there is plenty of 'experts' who can help you get it apply in your name, sort out the paper work and deal with the bureaucracy.
