Banks/EMI for crypto offramp (non-EEA resident)

Any success so far? I also saw that OCBC is only opening accounts remotely for citizens of few countries

Setting Up an Anonymous, Low-Cost Tax-Free Company Globally in 2024 with Minimal Compliance Requirements?

There can be many reasons for this and probably not CRS. In many countries the bank needs to flag suspicious activity by law. In that case everything is checked and the travel rule can reveal a lot about the transactions. There can also be spontaneous exchange of information. But I do agree...

Maybe just put into stocks or ETFs? The standard rate is not 8-12% anyways

Banks/EMI for crypto offramp (non-EEA resident)

Inflation including the debasement of the currency is somewhere between 8 and 12% buddy (and has been for the past 70 years). Gold (and even better, BTC) is the real currency

Wrong. CRS reports to resident country and not passport country.

Have not done it myself yet. You get what you pay for. I do not think they are too expensive for being Switzerland. Regarding crypto, it seems like they want you to either deposit directly and pay the fee of 0.5 to 1% or from Kraken. I do not know what happens if you sell for instance on...

Is Swissquote an alternative for you? Crypto friendly, you can deposit USD and EUR, even BTC directly. You also have access to a brokerage account and the investments are separated from the bank's assets by Swiss law

    Spontaneous exchange of information

I have read it is quite rare but I have heard it has happened. Usually it is when you claim to not be in the need to pay taxes because you have paid in another country. In that case and in case of pre rulings, it can happen. I do not understand why your new country would want to see that the...

    Clarification on CRS Reporting Thresholds

They can report without a TIN but Reporting to your country of phone number and citizenship would be against the OECD guidelines and is pure speculation

What do you mean by an "OTC"?

The list of non CRS countries 2019 - 2025

This is most probably the banks internal rules. Some banks only accept passports when opening accounts.

There is no Swedish bank that accepts crypto as source of funds. Keep your money abroad and transfer to the seller immediately or use crypto to make the purchase, this is still legal in Sweden but will be much harder to find a seller accepting it

Crypto cashout in Germany, 0% tax,

I do not see why this wouldn't work as long as you stay to just trading. However, you would need to prove the holding period to the German tax agency so you need proper documentation
