Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

Right, so you would need to move the funds back on Dec 31 to close the year with the seed amount back in the main company? And profit (if any) remains in the PE.

Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

Appreciate all your answers here, really helpful. So when the PE opens a Wise account + IBKR, the main Estonian entity would fund those accounts? How is that accounted in Estonia, as a loan to a PE?

Would the PE need to have its own set of bank/brokerage accounts? Is it required, good to have or doesn't matter?

    Us Llc non resident

What about a multi member LLC with management in a 0% tax country? Multi member LLCs are treated slightly different in the US - See this video from JB I'm guessing that if you ask a lawyer/CPA and they don't know the answer they will lean toward a safer side, which is to pay the tax. Why...

Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

I think the main question is has this been done in practice and survived an audit. A lot of things work in theory. Say you distribute 100k (PE profit) from Estonia and don't pay corp tax. How's that not a trigger for an audit?

    Estonia company profit cash out?

Very detailed post, appreciate it. The company does marketing, nothing fancy. I read about Georgia SBS 1% and some friends live there. Some say the RS likes to audit these solo-entrepreneurs. Not sure if it even qualifies if it's your own company (which is easy to figure out since Estonia...

Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

Thank you for clarifying. Would be interesting to know if anyone has ever done this in practice for years. I guess not every accountant/auditor would be able to do this properly.

Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

Good find appreciate it. So the exemption applies for the second 100k (profit) in my example above. The principal 100k would still be taxed at a regular CIT rate if distributed?

Estonia Company + Cyprus PE + CY Residency

I stumbled upon this post by @Don Quote: EE company with a PE in CY can redistribute the profits of the PE to the shareholders tax-free. And in the case of trading securities, there is no capital gains tax in Cyprus, so the overall tax will be 0%. Do I understand this correctly: Estonia...

    Estonia company profit cash out?

In his case he's "employed" there and makes 3k/month so that is his living cost. Why would he remit to Thailand unless buying property or something bigger. He can just spend with his foreign card.

    Estonia company profit cash out?

6 years, most profit accrued 2020-2022. Yes I'm looking for appropriate ways to optimize. I'd say 10-ish % is acceptable for me. Appreciate your thoughts. That's an option. A friend lives in Thailand and takes salary in lump sums whenever he needs it. Last edited: May 1, 2024

    Estonia company profit cash out?

Hi all, I have an Estonian company with high 6 figures of retained profit. Is there a way to cash out without paying the corporate tax? (which is increasing next year). It's fine distributing some as dividends but I'd prefer not to do it for the whole amount. I'm not in a rush, so it can...
