SEPA transfers to & from Binance might be unknown to crypto unfriendly banks

No, because all withdrawals have to be in your name. In the case with IB's deposit credentials it's their company name

Curious if people would keep 500K USD in the bank or as USDC/USDT?

BTC, USDC or even PAXG. It's easy to move, easy to hodl, easy to hide if needed.

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

They work and get paid. No, you can have the company without employees.

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

Not a tax resident in SG yes. They only cared about shareholder's residence. However we have a local director which is their requirement + 10 employees based around the world. We pay their salary (freelancer agreements) and they pay taxes based on their residence. It depends on the business...

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

If that's the case you structure it in a way where the company getting this profit is in a low tax jurisdiction + substance + your residence also matters. Example: Dubai + Singapore But don't do any direct transfers between them if you're the ubo + director that will classify as profit shifting...

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

My main goal to run my setup from Singapore was to avoid bureaucracy and stupid EU laws, but still have a reputable jurisdiction to run a business in with 0 questions asked on outgoing (and incoming) payments. Again, this was the best choice I've made moving my business there. Regarding taxes...

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

I don't, it's an operational company for salaries, invoice payments etc as I mentioned before. I assume if you want to get the money out you pay CIT and then pay yourself dividends.

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

For resident employees yes. For non-resident employees you can do a freelancer contract then it's not taxable.

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

Yes, OCBC and Wallex. Regarding taxes - I'm not sure, have to check with the accountant. Even if yes we don't show a lot of income there and keep this as an operational company (salaries, invoice payments, etc.). So let's say the turnover is 500k per year we show 50k income and only that gets...

Company in Singapore - crap or not?

Best decision I ever made is moving my IT business to Singapore from the EU. It's been around a year and no issues so far. Banking - we have OCBC and for smaller transfers we use Wallex. Not a single document was requested by their AML department. And yes you need a local director + the address...

British expats are being terrorised by corrupt Spanish tax collectors and fearing financial ruin

It's fine if you have solid tax residence elsewhere with proof. But only as a holiday home from August to November or from March to June, well depends on the area maybe. I like Andorra way more (not a beach & beer fan). It's more organized, less headaches when dealing with locals. If you plan...

    why is european citizenship bad?

The passport is fine. But life in the EU is not, well at least it maybe was 5-7 years ago (peaked). Quality of life is declining, healthcare is getting worse, migration, stupid laws, bureaucracy, taxes, privacy, faggots everywhere etc. EU passport holder here. Lived previously in the Baltics...

Crypto to real estate investment (not retail buy) jurisdictions? Bypassing banks

https://bitproperty.eu/ Had a few deals with them. Basically - you pay them crypto, they pay the lawyer/builder/seller with fiat and take a fee. Based in Portugal.
