They are generally ok with company registration but not helpful for bank account opening. They are not cheating but they cannot really help you to go further

You still have chance to get bank account in Singapore even with your Taiwanese company. OCBC still on-board with you if you are doing business at least 2 years. Certainly your chance to get account depends on your business model, your passport and connections to Singapore.

They are ok and nice, but the fees for big turnover/transaction are high. Also they have internal compliance to review your transactions regularly. You will get Zoom interview to verify your business when opening account but it is quite straightforward

Your wife can open personal account in Singapore. Going for Premier Account from OCBC or DBS is possible and good because Singapore banks welcome Vietnamese

@rowena I had Mashreq account 4-5 years ago then they decided to close many FZC accounts in 2019. However I heard that they re-opened for FZC again from 2021. But my friend said that they screw customers with bad services and often ask for supporting documents, do you get any problem with Mashreq?

That is normal for all Fintechs and Traditional Banks. You need to provide supporting documents and answer precisely their questions. Currenxie don't ask you, only their partner Banks ask you and it can be random
