Yes, is the numbers you need to give to the banks to report under CRS.

correct me if I m wrong but mean a falsificator for complete phony papers because for residence permit , one needs to wait at the que and immigration take his thumbprints and photo , ofcourse you can be teledeported in Cyprus like Star Treck at that moment. Not exactly. Once you have a HKID, this HKID is your TIN. Nothing to do with visas. A lot of people with Hong Kong visas are unable to get a HKID no matter how hard they try, because you basically have to be a company's employeeGiGoGo said:

Of course you are not getting it with the tourist visa. But with the rest (marriage, business, work, student...) I don't see a problem
