Do I have to care about taxes with low eBay earnings within the EU?

I didn't know where to post this, so I'm posting it here, please move this thread if necessary...

If I was to earn around 1000-2000eur per fiscal year from sales on eBay, would I have to care about taxes of some sort if I reside within the EU, as a EU citizen? What about 3000-4000eur?

Please ask any questions if needed.
