I do digital marketing and would appreciate your recommendations on where to register a company and bank account/EMI for taking credit card payments internationally. Current with a couple thousands in freelance monthly income mostly from US.

You want to go the other way around and start with which payment processor will accept your business. Just a quick shoot then use 2checkout for payment processing and find out which offshore jurisdiction they still accept if any!

@negon is right, you need to check who will accept the payment business first, especially with payments coming from the US which can be problematic. Once you have this covered you can establish which countries the bank will accept a company from and incorporate in the most suitable location.
