if someone is only a legal permanent resident of japan or western europe, will they have to declare offshore bank accounts and if so, to whom exactly? i know that ireland and the uk will but what about the rest of western europe and japan? do the rest of western europe and japan follow the same rule of thumb as the united states, canada, australia, new zealand, uk, and ireland? can someone please tell me if the entire first world follows the same rule of thumb as the anglosphere? anyone or someone please? rsvp. thank you.
