hello fox.

I believe some of you already had an account with offshore banks, but I don't know what is the limit of the fund you trust to keep in your offshore account.

please, through your experience, share with us one or more bank you can accually trust with your money.

thanks.

If it is for swissquote investment I opened an online account and have many products and card to access the funds, swissquote does not use bank intermediaries you will have swift code and IBAN and a very well reputed bank has served me very well, research and see if meets your profile. other banks in Singapore or hong kong you will also be doing very well and having your money and security.

So far I had an account with one of the Cyprus banks which works well. But after they close one account after the other I moved my personal stuff to a Mauritius bank. But with the amount you mention I would go with a Swiss bank!

I'm looking to open an account at BoC, have you had any problems with them?

Swiss banks are definitely the best for serious money, but you may also consider Lloyds or some other big bank in Jersey.

go with Switzerland or maybe Hong Kong and I would suggest going in person.

as someone who just lost a bunch of money with supposedly the biggest bank of Belize (Choice) going bust, I would never trust that much money to an offshore bank in the traditional offshore jurisdictions. They are just not solid or professional enough.

@aplusbangla regarding cim, it should be only a solution if you can not manage to got accepted by a better swiss bank, on a list of swiss banks it will be on last position.
