Hi there, I'm a new member currently living in Germany and working as a freelancer for a Hong Kong company (of which I also own some equity) .

Soon I will be moving to Spain and I am looking for ways to optimize my tax burden after the move.

I am still digesting a lot of information in this forum that is completely new to me but I hope I can find the right solution 🙂

Welcome.

Any specific reason to move to Spain? Tax wise it is a bad move. If you are just after a Mediterranean lifestyle then move to Portugal as a resident non-domicile and you pay no tax on foreign earnings.

Thanks!

Family reasons mostly, unfortunately I don't have a choice right now.

I know Spain is quite a tax hell, and that's why I would need a structure they can't find out about.
