Choice Bank of Belize faces liquidity problems

I asked myself the same, but if you go to the firstchoice site it says:

Firstchoice Pay
Firstchoice Pay has ceased its business activities and will no longer be able to receive or process any further payments.
Therefore, your card is no longer active and cannot be used.
Our website will remain live until October 1, 2018, and customers will still be able to log in and view their account.
For your convenience, we urge you to download any financial statements you might need for your personal records before October 1, 2018.
For more information, please visit our updated FAQs.

So I tried to get something but the only thing is to print screen our account, I didn't find other thing. And the emails and forms we had sent to Ad Kees and Ryan Thompson for the wire transfer

My funds are also held in my FirstChoicePay account , I have costumer Id number, I can download my statements, give them copy of all emails I have with the bank , screenshot of my log in into the account and that's it. I can't think of anything else as for now. Maybe I need to look at my agreements with them when I fist opened an account with them and gosh that was like almost 8-9 years ago....

Yes I want to ask him and I sent so many emails, but if he says that on august 28th he will publish the claim forms they will repeat that, on aug 28th we will have all the forms and infrmation.

I think the Central Bank has to publish and update soon.

Maybe the claim to the IMF I did activated his answer, everybody should make the claim there because the IMF controls all the central banks of the world and make the internacional banking laws The more people claiming everywhere, the more noise we do the better.

I also post comments on the channel 5 of Belize, everybody can do it. I only see my comment so it's a news noboddy cares it seems.

firstchoicepay has all our information cause that's where the accounts were made and choice bank should also have them, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to contact us.The only way we won't be able to get our money back is if the liquidator refuses to give it to us.

i just emailed firstchoice and asked them if i they could give me some documents that show that i have money in a Choice Bank account.Their email is [email protected] .I hope it helps.
 
Will the claims be processed on a first come first serve basis? Do you have any idea on the methodology they are using to decide the payout?

Yes Elian, every time I asked them since april they send me the same email saying that I have to ask to the bank and they gave me that email

Quick update.
I got email from the liquidator today. The email states the same thing as Claudia's post. Seems like they will post an update on the bank website in August 28th so make sure to regularly check it. We go from there and then claim for the $ that the bank owes us.
Also, the email [email protected] . is associated with the old Choice Bank owners, I doubt you will hear anything back from them.
Just fallow the new liquidator instructions and keep copy of all ur statements, emails and balance owned by the bank . Let's hope we will get decent amount back if not 100% . Regards to all
 
I got the same reply from the liquidator too and yes, make sure you download all your statements (transaction history,load history, monthly payments) and follow Choice bank's web page for updates.
