If your client wants their names registered at commercial registry then:

All banks provide SWIFT and IBAN.

To open a bank account:
Personal bank account
* POA

Corporation bank account
* Letter from the notary public who is in charge of the articles of incorporation, so the bank account is open BEFORE the corporation is registered.

If I understand correctly, in Cyprus you'd have accounting obligations right (yearly filing?), whereas other territories this is not necessary>

True Cyprus you have to do accounting and tax filing each year. However, compared to many other countries in Europe it's very relaxed, things are not Black and White as they may look like.

On the other side accounting and tax filing is not bad at all if you can get it as you like so you can use it as proof towards local tax auth. if required and you don't live in the same country.
