Hey guys,

Been a long time I've been reading different threads, and I have to say a lot of you here definitely know what they talk about.

I'm living in Malta myself, and I want to open my company as well as a bank account.

My business is all focused on internet activity (affiliate marketing), and I have some eCommerce projects as well.

What should I do?
I already have an EMI account (Leupay), as well as a PayPal account.

0 taxes isn't my main goal, I'm absolutely okay with paying some taxes.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Open an account at the Bank of Valetta 🙂

As you life on Malta, corp tax rate will be 35%, so get some local tax advice to get this down.

Really thinking about opening a company abroad now, and using an EMI linked to it.
Do you think that's a viable idea?

You can open a company in Marshall Islands/Belize and achieve anonymity plus 0% corporation tax. Then open a corporate Bank account in Cyprus.

It will look like this:

1. Company Incorporated Offshore @0% tax
2. Bank account in Bank of Cyprus (corporate tax at 12.5%, although only for companies incorporated in Cyprus)
3. You will just pay tax on any payments received to your personal account (if you send to your personal account) at the end of the year under CRS.

Your company will "operate" from the Marshall Islands.

Alternatively, you could open 2 offshore companies and make 1 the owner of the other in order to remove yourself from the CRS of the Bank of Cyprus, as the UBO.

Hope this helps!

Em

Thanks a lot for this answer.
Do you know anyone able to assist me in all of this?
