Mistertango account for HK IBC

Hi,

I am not an EU resident and have opened an IBC in HK. Will I be able to open a business account with Mistertango? I went to their website in the registration page they are asking for VAT number. I do not have a VAT number for HK IBC. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Simon,

every company in Hong Kong has to apply for a tax ID within some time. Keep in mind that your company is required to pay taxes as long as you have not proven that it is used as an offshore company. If you used a service to form the company, I am sure they can provide you with the tax ID.

Yes I have the Tax ID, so the Tax ID will be considered as the VAT ID? and for the second question do they allow non-EU persons to open account.
